After extensive research and self-contemplation, I realized that Lockhart may do more harm than good for Xbox's future ecosystem. Despite the claims that scaling will be manageable for first-party studios, I highly doubt that 3rd party studios will be patient enough to put extra resources into making sure the Lockhart can play their games properly.
Technically, you can play next-gen games on older-gen consoles but only after intensive and extensive resources are put into optimizing for those specs. Therefore, I personally think that Lockhart will serve as an Achilles Heel to Xbox's next-gen ecosystem.
What do you think, GAF?
