(I'd very much like for him to return to his roots, but as long as he's a fully playable character. Weirdly enough I loved SCII despite Lizardman only being a bonus character).

I would actually say a crap game is worse than nothing, especially when it's a niche subgenre like this.

Odd you think a turd of a game being released will help things. People get alienated from genres when they play bad games in them. Having a high profile disaster of a game is going to poison the well especially when there's not many other options.

I said: "Namco's sh*ttest Soul Calibur game". Even the Soul Calibur games that people hate on the most have been competent fighting games as far as I know. That's what I meant, not asking for them to release a Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness-style mess.
