Hey, i'm asking an honest question.

You went to the "Joke character" well surprisingly late, though. I expected you to whip that one out back at least a page earlier. Kudos.
 
Ookiku Furikabutte 13 and 14 were great, I seriously think that it is the best sports anime in terms of simply setting up atmosphere (even better than Ippo, althought Ippo is still the champ of the genre).

and im sad to see the OP change, I really liked the first OP.

Genshiken 12 was nice. Are they going to do any extra OAVs this time? I heard there's still some content from the manga they haven't done yet.
 
I really hope that Genshiken 2 isnt the last of Genshiken animated.

There better be a 3rd season announced soon, I didnt like the way the ended it, it was also kind of lame how the entire last episode
was pretty much 100% about Sasahara, it would have worked if it wasnt the last episode of the series.

It gets worse every time I continue viewing it.

The art direction is strong, I definitely love the atmosphere, but the character designs are...meh, and the characters themselves are nothing special right now. episode 1 is a rather cliche real robot starter episode as well.

Interestingly enough, I find a lot of people complaining about the CGI, but for a 26 episode show I think this is great.
 
I really didn't like the character design. The cgi and machines looked great, as did the environment. But did the lead character really have to look so much like a girl that it's actually a gag in the show? If that dude is gonna carry the show for 26 eps then I weep for the series.

I also didn't like how it ended. It was too damn abrupt and basically left the Ogiue/Sasahara love relationship incomplete. After teasing us for 11 episodes, Sasahara was only able to call her and tell her he got a job. Fucking LAME!
 
D.Gray-man 64 was good. ;_; Short haired Lenalee is fugly, though. :lol

Ayakashi and Candy Boy (why did I watch this?) are not worth anyone's time so stay away.

I'm able to watch over 10 shows every week because I have high tolerance and still enjoyed myself.
 
Wow man, Armored trooper Votoms is fucking awesome!! Can't wait for more to come out. Must watch for any military/Mech war fans.

There was a sub out for a while now. OK episode. I hope the subbing process for the next season won't be so erratic.

Looks like we can't go one season without a vampire harem show. Let me think of the last three seasons: Kaibutsu Ojou, then Ninomiya-kun, now Rosario+Vampire. So far we have been 0 for 2: Pretty crappy.

The second season of Gunslinger Girl starts next week. Hopefully it'll be good. I watched the first season last year when it was on IFC. It was much better than I thought it would be. I'm looking forward to the next season.

I keep expecting
Tajima to shuffle forward and hit it far, but he just cant do it.
 
First episode of Rosario + Vampire wasn't too shabby. The first half was pretty funny, the second half was a little more ho-hum. Nice looking ep though, a lot better than I thought it would look.
 
Clannad is pretty much the only show I'm watching right now. Very enjoyable, though.

By the way, does anyone mind the discussion of older anime in this thread? Because I've watched Mushishi again recently, and it truly is a fantastic anime. One of the most memorable pieces of entertainment I've ever seen. So mesmerizing.

since the J-Drama thread is pretty much dead, ill just this here for any nodame fans.

but 2 extra episodes of the live action series are airing today apparently (well one today, one tomorrow...in japan time).

Aye. Was going to create a thread for it since the SP episodes are about Chiaki in Europe and we all know that Nodame fans want nothing more than for the story to continue.

The 1st raw is out atm, 2 hours long so I'm happy. Let's hope for a speedy fansub.
 
Finally watch Rosario + Vampire. Being it's done by Gonzo which means tons of ecchi and pantsu shots which irritates me to no end for some reason and maybe cheesy abit. However,kinda interesting for a plot therefore it's not bad plus Capcom sponsoring means a new game will be made!!!
 
Didn't think Major s4 would start this early so it was a nice surprise to see that it had aired. First ep starts off where the last ep ended and it was definately enjoyable, seeing as I was a fan of the previous seasons. Can't wait for next weeks ep.
