Modded version looks way better than that infamous E3 footage so I have high hopes. So will the game finally look anything like the promotional footage that was used to bait people?
How often are you inside looking at a mirror or glass in the Witcher series? by my count zero.zero
Don't worry. The DLCs are like 40 hours long.Cool I guess, but I completed the game during lockdown. Still have the DLC I guess.
You mean the 2nd one. I'd say you can get 60h in total from them...Don't worry. The DLCs are like 40 hours long.
The textures in the base game really are bad at times, and really show their age. The HD Reworked project transforms the game -Absolutely! HD Reworked Project + with what they're doing here they could easily sell it again to next-gen consoles. They are very consumer friendly.
and the framerate?
I only played them once and I missed a lot of shit. I'm all over this remaster. You mean the 2nd one. I'd say you can get 60h in total from them...
It's a phenomenal mod. The consistency with vanilla textures/artstyle is keyThe textures in the base game really are bad at times, and really show their age. The HD Reworked project transforms the game -

No amount of ray tracing will make up for crappy textures and low poly assets.
Yeah that is the key for sure. It looks very much the same game, just everything looks way more detailed. It's a phenomenal mod. The consistency with vanilla textures/artstyle is key
I use Ericas Opulent Reshade and STLM2 to go with it *chefs kiss*Yeah that is the key for sure. It looks very much the same game, just everything looks way more detailed.
Even these screens dont do it justice when you're playing the game and almost every thing in the game now has these super high rez textuires.

True but we have been here before. Skyrim Special Edition a great example, added all these fancy post processing effects, god rays, new lighting etc, but the same vanilla textures. From what I can tell all we have had is the twitter announcement. Seems a bit pre-emptive to say it won't match what a mod is doing.![]()
I'm a bit confused cause this games always been on the consoles and PC platform.
told what? this was a pc game since 2015,and modded to death since them,i understand some of you want to champion the against consoles, but this is nonsenseI told ya'll that the PC is going to be this generation best platform to be on! It's going to pick up so many games from the PS space and all the Xbox ones.![]()

I know they did hire some modders! I think the person who did the Full Combat Rebalance mods is / was working in CDPRYep CDPR should hire these guys or at least import it oficially into their updated engine. Their dedication for so many years is outstanding.
Not in 4kWas 60 fps on xbox one x, so would imagine the same on next gen.
I think it's one Polish guy, lol. CDPR really need to cut him slack.Yep CDPR should hire these guys or at least import it oficially into their updated engine. Their dedication for so many years is outstanding.
Common sense dictates that a person should look up what ray tracing actually is before replying. Seems you lack it. Ray tracing is not just reflections. Go read more about it and then reply.
I know what RT is but from a lighting perspective mods already have touched on the outdoors so that leaves only some indoor segments. the difference in a 5 yrs old game will not be much, but its free enjoy.
Not in 4k
No mod will ever surpass RT. The mods you're talking about which I used, only changed time of day and have edited some of the colors to make it look more natural. If CDPR implement rt lighting, diffuse lighting, shadows, reflections, etc. it will significantly change the way Witcher 3 looks.
They are putting graphical enhancements on it. More likely Ray Tracing, higher res textures, better materials, etc..
Ok, thats not what I was asking, but thank you for your opinión60 fps is more important than 4k (and 30 fps)
