Everytime I turn the damn thing on, my first thought is "why do I still own a console? Damn nice hardware. Once the game library gets large enough, I can see myself switching to the PSP exclusively until machines like the PS3 or XB360 (PS3) come along.

pretty much. i would say even xenon/ps3 are unnecessary at this point. just make better and better handhelds sony. and MS could port halo++ to these handhelds. everyone is happy.

The PSP has certainly made me partial to Sony. My kids have one of the gameboys, but they don't want to do anything but play with my new PSP. HSG is freaking awesome, too.

I'm playing HSG RIGHT NOW and I'm thinking about how much more fun I had with Mario Golf on the GBC. Not that I'm hating on it or anything, since it looks nice and plays fine. I'm just getting sick of being forced to play the exact same holes 500 times to earn different useless items in hopes that it'll eventually let me earn a new character. This trend of extending gameplay through endless repetition has been a problem in Wipeout, Ridge Racers, and now this - it's getting really old.

There really is no excuse for not owning a PSP. Money shouldn't be an issue. If you're on these boards, you surely own a home console/ handheld or two. Sell them bitches! With a PSP you won't need them anymore.
