I tend to mix consciousness and conscience so I write conscienceness and then fix it.

necessarily is also difficult sometimes

Cylinder was tricky for a while, but now I've got it. It's easier to remember when you break it into two pieces. Cy-linder.

Diarrhea and broccoli are still tough sometimes.

I noticed that a lot of the double consonant words have the double pair after the first one, so tomorrow necessary, recommend.

I had problems with lieutenant recently (spelled it right there though). I can't remember how to spell a lot of words, but it's the ones where the confusion comes at the beginning, so autocorrect doesn't know how to help, that are the worst.

Usually words with consonants near other that could be single or double. Concession, occasion, recession, etc. I always get confused which letter I double.

There's also bizarre and bazaar. Somehow I combine the two like bizaar.

Oh and definitely vacuum. I also always wrote judgement and harbringer.

I never knew restaurant was that problematic. I've never seen anyone misspell it outside of typos.

Funny, but I keep seeing a pattern of French words keep coming up:

Restaurant
Maintenance
Renaissance
Manoeuvre
Lieutenant

I speak French so pronouncing it in French definitely helps.

Rest-au-rant (this comes from the French verb restaurer which means to restore/bring back up)
Main (hand) tenance (from the verb tenir, which means to hold)
Re- nai-ssance (rebirth)
Man-oeuvre (man from the Latin manus (hands) and oeuvre which means work/labor.
Lieu-tenant (lieu is place and tenant is "holding")

Dissapointed.

That's how I spell it above. I know it's wrong. My brain doesn't give a shit.

Just disassemble the word:

We write "appoint" and not "apoint" right? And the prefix dis has only one s like dis-cover or dis-endow

So put the two together and you have dis-appoint

Restaurant
Surprise
Guardian
Guarantee
Rhyme
Rhythm
Mid evil

I actively avoid those words if spell check isn't available.

"Schedule"

Don't know why I can't remember it. I always spell it wrong.

It's not the only one (there are a lot) but it's the first one that comes to mind.

Restaurant used to be one of these for me, but I trained myself.

Res - like a resurrection in Overwatch.

Tau - like Taurus, the astrological sign.

Ant - like the little bastard who gets into your pantry.

Restauant lol? Why not use the word "rant" to remember the last part instead?
