words you hate??

this is not really a word, but a way of talking I hate.
it's a small thing, but it annoys me every time it happens.
it's when someone says 2 things that share one element, with another one being different... and then they put the emphasis on the unchanged part when saying the second one, instead of emphasising the part that changed.

like, for example. if someone says "yesterday it was one hundred ants, today it is one thousand ants!" and they put the emphasis on the second "one" instead of the thousand.

another example would be "a few days ago I saw a red panda, and then yesterday I saw a giant panda!" and they put the emphasis on panda instead of giant.

just super annoying... like... wtf are you doing?

"Template" because some people pronounce it as "tem-PLAYT", really overpronouncing, instead of using the cool, normal, not tryhard "tem-plet".

I have never heard someone do this, but whoever does is an actual idiot.

You just opened my eyes to something I have subconsciously hated for years but could never quite put into words. It is like a text to speech engine glitching out and reading the sentence without any actual understanding of the context. Now I am going to notice this everywhere, so thanks for breaking my brain today. Seriously though, why emphasize the panda when the whole point is that it is giant.

Recently i discovered the word "looksmaxing" and i hate everything about it.
What's good about looksmaxxing is that men should know how much better you get treated when you look sharp. And it's quite easy to do the bare minimum. Like buying nice and inexpensive clothes. Or getting a nice haircut and trimming/shaving your beard. Or exercising and getting a good posture.

What's not good is when it people go to extreme lengths and it becomes an obsession. Women also generally care less about the visuals than men. To them how a man makes them feel is very important.
