Well, 10.0.0 prepatch dropped. The new U.I. improvements are pretty great, but that's if you've been using standard U.I. and not on of the many replacements available. Still, it's a great baseline that was long overdue. I really like the auto-targeting interaction dedicated button.
Really happy to see skill-trees back. The way the system has been for the last decade or so really discouraged player experimentation and unique builds. It's a much better system, love that a lot of the "player power" abilities from previous expansions are now just baseline talents available to pick from. And being able to switch talent builds pretty much wherever you want and with no penalty of gold cost is very encouraging to experimenting with different builds while you're out in the world.
I haven't played much WoW over the years, my wife has been playing pretty much from the moment I met her, but I'll say, I've leveled up 2 characters to level 60 with her the last few weeks and have had a great time. Playing it much slower and reading the quests and just kind of soaking the world in has been so much fun. I really look forward to Dragon Riding, as it really addresses a much need tweak to traversing the world.
