On a positive note...Red Scarlet your alternate costume Jessica avatars make me smile in my pants.

Aaah! aaaaah! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! NOOOOO! MY EYES!!!!

I can´t believe it, I haven´t seen this (and I was better that way). This is a serious candidate for worst cover ever (at least the Megaman one has a nice background).

While Karnaaj Rally admittedly has hideous boxcover art, I think it has some of the best GBA graphics. The top-down 3D is very well done. I wish they would make a golf game using that engine.

I remember the interview with the "Creator" of Snood.
He basically talked about how he wanted to make a simple puzzle game for his wife and sales just snowballed.

Fucker didn't even have the balls to mention Puzzle Bobble, which he blatantly rips off.

I blame Mac users for the existence of Snood. If you'd swallowed your pride and bought a PC, you wouldn't have to settle for subpar rehashes of lightweight arcade games.

Not only that, but it's one of the best GBA racers put out. Very reminscent of Super Cars 2 on the Amiga. Racing Gears Advance was a slightly better game, however.

Too bad, given that demeaning box art.

No one in their right mind, barring an XTreme ten year old warping into the future from 1992, would even consider looking at a game with a box like that.

Only fags use macs. *pats himself on the back*

Looks like the return of the commodore 64 budget cassette game cover from 1984.

:lol So true. Very Codemasters circa 1990. They could've at least fit the bottom of his shoes on.

How about the sequel (and this is the Japanese art!)

Until I hold a copy in my hand, I honestly refuse to believe that's an actual cover.
Have you ever played the game on PC? It's a shameless Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble ripoff that has some of the worst art ever seen by human eyes; this God-awful cover is not the least bit surprising.

That doesn't really betray Rainbow Islands' art in any way that I can see. Bub and Bob look high on the Bubble Bobble DS art though. :lol

Elf Bowling 1 & 2

I hope they stick with this first box art, it is fantastic.

:lol

The first one is like;

"Oh shit a bowling ball! AHHHHHHH!"

The second one;

"We've seen this shit before. Give it your best shot bitch"

:lol

Great game so far, but I cringe everytime I look at the case. I think it will actually hurt sales for what is otherwise a great game.

It's actually a pretty fun and well-made game, but you went the EGM route and judged the game based on the box...good job there.
lol! Touchy, touchy!

Sorry, it looks cheap as fuck. It's hard to get interested in games where the artwork was done by Stevie Wonder.

There must be some sort of "The CEOs wife is in charge of making boxart" thing at Jaleco going on.

The only way art like that could consistantly be put out on shelves is because whoever is making it is not fireable.

The sad thing is, Snood on the DS could've really taken advantage of the system by using the two screens to make an extra-long playing field.

Isn't it better to have a screen asking you to "Pause?"

Snood looks like some of those $2.99 bargain bin PC games you find at Walmart. :lol

Thanks for the godawful reminder of the Capcom NES covers. Hilarious.

Damn, Jaleco's been at this a long time.

Why are they 12? The white kid looks like he's pouting because his mom didn't pick up more Mountain Dew at the store. Is that neon-blue building supposed to look like the ghetto? It looks kind of like they're in the business district downtown. I presume that the Starbucks is somewhere behind them, out of frame.
