Worst PS4 game you've played so far

That would be either Evolve or Wander. I also didn't like Killzone Shadow Fall very much.

I forgot Thief. That was terrible. Just read that one in the Xbox One thread.

From what I've played.

BloodBorne.

Took 10 posts people! You knew it was coming.

I seriously don't understand the point of all of these "Worst insert obscure opinion topic here" threads. Why does everybody want to know or discuss the "worst" of anything? Stop it with these.

I don't buy bad games.

So I was quite mad when people here told me The Order 1886 is totally worth 10 bucks and I chose to believe them. They made me buy a bad game.

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

I've been gaming for over 30 years, and this one game is my least favourite ever along with Other M. You can't really truly 'hate' a piece of entertainment, but if you could, I would detest this game.

Probably Destiny. Not calling it shit or anything, but it just turned out not to be my thing. I would say Watch Dogs, but fucking around in multiplayer with my friend was actually pretty fun.

EDIT: Completely forgot I owned Evolve. That one I disliked more than Destiny. At least you could find other people to play with in Destiny. I couldn't find any matches on Evolve.

Homefront: The Revolution

Aside from the freezing, bugs and glitches, the game just didn't have that feel to it that makes you want to keep playing. I played ten hours and I was like, that's enough, I can't play this anymore. Such a shame since I was hoping that this was going to be a compliment to Far Cry but instead, it was an insult.

The Order 1886 easily. I bought that game for $8 and I felt ripped off.

This

I finished the game and didn't liked at all.

And I played many PS4 games, some of which the general perception of them is bad.

The Order lacked a lot in the gameplay department and I would really love to see a proper sequel address this. It could have been amazing.

Damn, this thread is crazy lol. Binding of Isaac is easily in my top 5 GOAT.

You guys dont really play a lot of games if these are the worst :D

Still less than 10 games in 13 months. Not a lot of time to play and no plus subscription.

And I liked The Order (also for 8$). It's that game I keep forgetting that I own and I have beaten. I don't remember anything glorious about it, but neither anything bad enough to put it in my hall of shame.

Keeping in mind this the worst game I've actually played (I'm sure there are far worse), but AC IV: Black Flag. Love the setting and open world, but the controls are overly simplistic and especially finnicky when running and climbing. A damn shame, too. It has the makings of a great game.

Ignoring some terrible Ps+ games.

- Wolfenstein The New Order: Boring gameplay, boring weapons, annoying enemy desig based around bullet sponges. Bought it for like $9 and the only reason I finished it is because the story and characters were surprisingly good.
I think one of the big reasons why Doom hype around Gaf isn't getting to me is that I saw a lot of people having similar reactions to this game

- The Order 1886: I don't agree with this games take on "cinematic" gaming. It should be about creating interative scenarios that make the player feel like he is taking part in a movie, and not about literally just taking all control away from the player and showing him a movie. If you are set on having your game be like that, then at least make sure you are showing a good movie. There is a difference between telling a complete story that sets up sequel and telling a story that feels like little more than a prologue

One of those. Interestingly enough I dislike them for oposite reasons. In one I really disliked the gameplay but found the narrative interesting while in the other I disliked the narrative but found the gameplay decent (sadly, their focus was on the narrative)

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

I haven't played a lot of ps4 games so far though. But I thought the level design was tedious as hell and the puzzles uninteresting (the one where you have to remember the pattern of the house was garbage), although the atmosphere was okay but somewhat average for a walking simulator.

Thankfully I haven't played many bad games on PS4, but AC Unity, Knack and the Thief reboot were all fucking terrible.

I'd say AC Unity is the worst game I have played on PS4.

Agree with this. Couldn't believe how god awful the campaign was. Never finished it and deleted the game from my hard drive. It was that insulting.

Completely forgot about Blops 3, fuck me that campaign was terrible. Who thought it would be a good idea to set the finale
inside a fucking robots dream?

Laughable but expected.

Don't know why I bite but I want to die right now.

Lol. Care to explain how?

I bet you like CoD, Battlefield or Titanfall

Just a hunch :x

Let me guess, you're bad at the game so you think the game itself is bad.

Sure seem to be making a lot of assumptions there guys

Ignoring PS+ games, my vote goes to Fallout 4.

Great that so many people love the game, but I hated almost everything about it.

The Witcher 3 probably. Mostly cause i dont buy bad games but out of my pile its the least i enjoyed cause of the plethora of performance issues and the game kept giving me headaches.

Edit:ElTorro reminded me i bought FO4 yeah that game was trash.

Killzone Shadowfall and Order 1886 are both tied for me in being pretty bad/not fun for me. I don't download/play my PS+ games so I can't really count those

And yes I've beaten Knack, I thought it was okay, not terrible or bad really.

Out of the AAA games I actually paid for...

Mad Max is probably the worst so far. The game has an amazing atmosphere, functional combat, and some great car mechanics. And it wastes all of it on 40 hours of map-vomit POIs and fetch quests. It's super bloated and dragged down by itself. The first 5 or so hours are absolutely glorious. But there's a combination of collectible overload and quickly becoming so overpowered that you're literally one-shotting just about everything - your car becomes nigh-indestructible - and the 'story', whatever it was, spirals straight to incoherent crazy town. And the ending is absolute garbage that doesn't pay off whatsoever. In fact, it soured my whole experience when you are forced to
sacrifice Chumbucket for absolutely no fucking reason. Killing off one of the only likable characters and then immediately making his death meaningless when the 'boss' survives and you have to fight him a second fucking time.

It's like a textbook on everything wrong with open world games today. It stands out because it has all the pieces to be an amazing game, but it struggles to remain average-at-best after a few hours. Cut out 30+ hours of trash and you have a better game.

I completely forgot about Evolve! I just did not enjoy that game at all despite really looking forward to it. Soooo many terrific ideas yet they stumbled a bit with the execution.

Does "this game is trash" mean "I don't like this game" now?

People need to stop taking shit so seriously. Does it really bother you that much if someone calls a game trash? Sure it's hyperbole, but who gives a fuck?

Anyways, for me it was that really bad game where you play as a red robot that walks up walls or something? It was honestly one of the worst games I've ever played. It looked like a really cheap prototype that someone made for their portfolio in college.

The Order is #1 for me for reasons stated over and over by numerous people.

Next would probably be Madden. I think it plays fine, but I have a real hard time enjoying a pro sports game like this without at least editable draft classes.

Rocket League (It wasn't even bad. I just got talked into trying it on PS+, and it didn't quite click with me.)

i only have ~10 games and i haven't played anything "bad" bad yet, but Killzone: SF was incredibly mediocre. got it at launch and was really disappointed in it, as I liked KZ2 well enough

Mercenary Kings and Shutshimi were notably poor imo.

Outside of PS+, i didn't enjoy Naruto UNS4 much at all. Wouldn't call it 'bad' though.
