Yes but there'd be conditions. I would want her to be fully open about it, no secrets, no lies, and nothing abusive in the filming. I'd also hope it would be a temporary thing and she'd eventually move to something else.

However, if we started dating THEN wanted to be a pornstar...nah, couldn't do it.

I'm going to take a guess, but that is probably the normal reaction for most people in this case.

Honestly, I'm not sure the majority of people who made those posts could actually deal with it.

Edit: I think it's more of a "I want to fuck this person regularly without any emotional attachment than date".
 
Maybe. Depends if our personalities/interest mesh, or at least conflict in interesting and exciting ways ('opposites attract' is a saying for a reason).

Basically being in porn wouldn't be an automatic deal breaker. But neither would it be an automatic plus.
 
Probably not, just from interviews with porn stars I hear on Stern or Opie & Anthony, a lot of these girls seems like train-wrecks and have a lot of baggage not to mention drug and alcohol issues. I'm sure that's not the case with all of them, but still wouldn't risk it.

Nah. I wouldn't date one and even though I would be ok with just having sex, I wouldn't because I would feel kinda hypocritical and then hate myself. Perfectly ok with pornstar as a career etc. and would have no problems being purely platonic friends. I wouldn't judge my sister for example if she became one (a pornstar that its). I just wouldn't be ok with my girlfriend fucking other people, and I'm ok with not being ok with it. I think it is very normal and ok to not be ok with having your SO have sex with other people for money. There are multilayered reasons why that is just simply not desirable for most. It's not always about being crazy jealous or anything either. I'm also very ok with other people being ok with it. I feel no reason whatsoever for either to have to defend their views to the other in this matter. You're ok with, then you're ok with it and if you're not, then you're not.

That's a lot of ok in one post. I'm sorry if my writing comes off as trying to please everyone or something. I just think that obviously people in the bang biz are just people and being a pornstar isn't a big DUN DUN DUNNNNN dramatic thing to me but the unique properties their career would bring to the hypothetical relationship are just not something I desire and then there are people who are different from me who have no problems with it and I don't think they need to justify anything to a guy like me.

But the whole gist of the topic is misleading. Why title the thread as singling out pornstars if the intended focus isn't supposed to be about sex? Because sex is the first thing our mind is going to go to as it's the main determinant in this thread.

I know you're trying to white knight this thread by saying, "hey look at his/her personalities! They're more than pornstars!" But we have literally zero information about these people beyond their sexual abilities.

Jenni Lee seems really nice in her videos. Maybe I'd date her. Oh wait, the entire thing is acting just like the sex part.
 
I don't see why not. People who've been in relationships have fucked a lot, too. And it's not like people aren't rough/kinky.
 
Without knowing a person it would be hard to answer either way, but it would certainly be a large hurdle that their personality would have to overcome. Not really an option for me anyway as most of them are younger than I prefer to date.

I'd date a porn star. It's not like she's killing babies for a living. People take sex too seriously. It's not sacred; animals do it. She may be on film with other guys but at the end of the day, you're the one she wants to be with.
