Actually I would look down on them less than someone who leads a person along in a relationship when all they want is the occasional "slap and tickle". At least in this arrangement both parties are getting what they want and what they expect.

I also think we should legalize and regulate it. Our current system is about as ineffective as possible when it comes to eliminating prostitution. But if you wanted to design a system that would ensure there would always be an underclass of exploited women forced into prostitution with no societal recourse or protection, you could hardly do better.

At this moment, in this society, I'd probably have some level of judgement, just because I think a lot of the people who are sex workers today don't want to be. I mean, it would differ depending on the specific circumstances. In the general sense I guess I don't really see a problem. I'd probably feel a visceral sense of distaste from being raised Catholic and then go home and feel guilty about it afterwards ALSO from being raised Catholic.

I guess it would depend on the sex worker. Are they the stereotypical "give the money to the pimp" kind? If so then yes, because they are continuing a line of negativity just so they could have an orgasm that they can easily give themself.
