Because WWE are too terrified to do an episode of Raw without John Cena.

I don't agree with the shoehorning of Cena at the tail end. They could have at least built tension between Cena and Del Rio throughout the show. Cena could have shown up first, interrupted by Del Rio earlier in the show. It would have at least set the stage for a Cena run in.

but what does wrassleGAF know? We're just fans. We're consumers, not producers. I agree with Net_Wrecker. What kind of monkeys are writing this show?

We have no idea what's good for business.

Shoe-horning in Cena to close RAW is good for business.

Cena's reaction would make more sense if it wasn't screwed out of the title several times in the past and was fairly complacent with it. I expected this sort of anger from him when Rock screwed him at Wrestlemania. But nope, comes out all happy go lucky and smiling with a bubbly attitude. Here, Del Rio didn't do anything to Cena, attacked Punk and now Cena thinks Del Rio personally offended him with his roid rage faux anger that still comes off as more hilarious rather than menacing. Fucking stupid WWE.

Cena vs. ADR @ NoC.

Weeeeeee!

Meanwhile, the WWE "creative" have CM Punk off chasing C-O-N Spiracies.

So the plot thickens on this C-O-N .. spiracy!

- Mr. H's denies involvement and wants to apologize to Cena face to face. Only left ticket(s) for Nash. Yes, that's plural.
- Mr. H's walks into Cena's lockerroom
- Nash says "it's business". Implies that Mr. H's is a liar!
- CM Punk delivers a scathing promo against Nash. Implies maybe that Nash is hiding something. Nash is given security protection. Punk thinks it's Mr. H's protecting Nash.
- Steph greets Punk in Mr. H's office. Says something the lines of getting what they deserve. Punk ponders ... fade to commercial

It's funny how Punk's promo was supposed to change the business for the better, but all it did was bring HHH, Steph, and Nash back to tv.

The future isn't about Punk. The future is Mr. H's. The dude MUST GET OVER AT ALL COSTS.

It has made the shows a million times better then what WWE has been giving us in a long time. I'd say things have changed quite a bit.

I'm wondering what type of change you were expecting?

Missed Nash talking to Johnny Ace and moving the conversation to a private area ..

This show was a complete train wreck. The rumble may very well be the worst rumble I've ever seen, but the Midnight Express/Rock & Roll Express match was....wow, just shouldn't have happened. Best bits of the show were Terry Funk's promos and Foley trying to explain to Bob Backlund the concept of iPPV, but there really were no highlights in the ring. Everything was awful except for maybe a minute or two of Nash/Waltman vs The Outlaws.

For those of you looking for answers to the Nash/Punk/HHH/Steph/etc. storyline, you clearly didn't get them on tonight's edition of Raw. The story I'm getting is that it was very chaotic backstage at Raw tonight and decisions weren't made until last minute.

...

The lack of resolve in the "Who texted Kevin Nash?" story is because WWE still hasn't solidified the direction they're going to take yet. "They have five ways they can go with this thing," said a WWE writer, "and it's still unclear which one they're going to choose." As I reported yesterday, WWE never intended on Del Rio to be the one who "hired" Kevin Nash. The obvious options now are Triple H, Stephanie, Johnny Ace and Vince, but WWE has proven that they don't always go with the clear choice with things like this, so no one will ever know for sure until it's finally in the books.

One source told me that the CM Punk/Kevin Nash promo was very unscripted. "Those two were working without a net out there," the source said, "and the jabs they took at each other were not planned beforehand."

This makes Punk's text jab even more golden

Why is it so fundamentally difficult for WWE creative to write something, to say "yeah, that's good" and then just fucking stick with it? If half of what's written in the dirt sheets can be believed the whole creative process sounds like one huge cluster fuck.

Should we believe them? They've been wrong about almost everyting since the initial Punk promo, and frankly this sounds like the guys don't know what is happening, and assume the WWE have nothing down.

Apparently this is some of WWE Superstars show results..Lets just say Superstars gotta new jobber instead of Jack Swagger..

Santino Marella defeated Primo.

Zack Ryder defeated Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre stuck in the Sheamus roll right now. Get pushed to the moon, and then somehow get an "ego" backstage and get buried until you can't see the light of day. Cue WWE bitching in six months they have no future stars.

It was Stone Cold, of course.

You know what? THAT would actually be really intriguing and would fit Austin's MO too (not giving a damn about anyone, DTA, etc.) Only thing is, I don't think Austin and Nash have any connection. But it could be a good way to introduce Austin to the storyline.

Money in the Bank is available on DVD and iTunes today. I'd have picked it up on Blu-Ray, but it doesn't look like it's available yet even though Joey Styles swears it is on Twitter. I bought the Cena/Punk match on iTunes for $2.99 for the HD and SD versions just to show support to the WWE that this is the kind of thing I want to see.

Which is a shame. I'm a fan of McIntyre and he's def. improved over the years in his in-ring ability and in showing a personality with a lot of in-ring antics and stuff. He was def. not ready when he debuted, but he should get into the US Title fold sooner or later.

A million times better?
Really? REALLY?
Since the Money in the Bank PPV? Really?

Is commentary better? No.
Is Cena still his cheesy, stale, inconsistent self hogging every RAW main event? Yes.
Is match quality better? I would say no. Punk's only wrestled once on RAW since MITB. Rey has been the shining star of most of RAW's recent matches and he's on the shelf again.
Has anyone in the midcard gotten over from this? Possibly Beth but she just lost a title match to Kelly Kelly.

The only positive change I can see from RAW since MITB is that Ricardo is back and R-Truth hates spiders. Neither of those things has anything to do with CM Punk bringing "change". Smackdown has improved more over the same timespan than RAW has but that's due in large part to the undercard being built around sustained feuds.

What about when Jack got his swagger back?

I love the movie How Jack Got His Swagger Back.
His song "Jumping Jack Flash in the pan" was way better than his movie work
hmm this sounded better in my head
Regarding movies I dealt with a rental today of some film simply called "Fred the movie", with a title that craptacular I just had to read the back of the box where I discovered that one John Cena played a role in it, probably a minor one but something tells me it's likely his worst movie role at any rate.

I would say the commentary has gotten better every week. JR of still finding his way back but there has been improvement. Yeah the match quality has gotten better. Matches have been longer and guys are actually telling stories in the ring. lets see morrison and truth are having a good mid card fued. Dolph and A-ry and having a decent fued. It seems like tag teams might be getting pushed again. And all the girls not just beth and natty are being taken more seriously.

It not all going to change 100% in a month. They are putting on better shows that make you want to watch next week. There is no perfect wrestling show.

I enjoyed on Raw that Morrison said how much he wanted a falls count anywhere match then within a minute went for a roll up.

Bit of a messy Raw really, Nash didn't do anything for me, kind of stumbled through his promo.

random pins to me are one of the most annoying things in wwe. I know the gimmick is that they're trying to expend the other guys energy by making him kick out but it always comes off as lulzy.

Any MITB dvd/bluray extras? Amazon ain't tellin me anything - which probably means no, but I wanted to know if anyone heard different.

that women is gonna get him fired isnt she?

Hope so. He can take his little pony prancing elsewhere. He ain't credible!

Also, been thinkin...We all know how bendable Evan Bourne is. He could take an incredible powerbomb, just murder him, Nash!

Finally got caught up...

Don't know whose fault it was..... but Riley could have gotten killed at the end of that match.

I remember hearing Brock Lensar dropped Hardcore Holly on his head because he was being a "dead weight."

Anyhow....will have to go back and re-watch

Drew McIntyre should have never been moved from Smackdown to Raw.

He was doing just fine being the #3/4 heel on Smackdown, and with the lack of depth on SD now, he could be a valuable part of that show.

Instead, he's stuck in dark matches and on Superstars for God knows what reason.

He's boring, and he still couldn't get any heat as Vince McMahon's chosen one.

Initially true, but I feel like he's gotten alot better over the past year.

At the Elimination Chamber PPV earlier this year, I thought he was terrific in the Smackdown EC.

Plus, I like his theme music! :(

I love the in depth assessments of why WWE is so bad day in and day out. I guess you can be an expert at something when refuse to stop watching the product.

Superstars has a strange effect of making the guys on that shows IWC darlings if only for a week. Guarantee if Drew was back on SD next week no one would give a shit, just like Tyson Kidd being on SD for the past few weeks getting no buzz, despite a ton of praise for a lot of the matches he has done recently on NXT or Superstars.
