Someone needs to make Del Rio look good.

Dat booking. Dat change in the WWE. Dat sitting back and enjoying the ride.

It's like the Attitude Era up in this piece, dawg.

I wonder what rating it would take to get Smackdown canned on Syfy in the future. I rarely ever watch it, but its amazing how horrible and uninteresting the roster on there is. It's worse than brand extension ECW used to be when it started.

They must love Daniel Bryan jobbing. Meltzer was so right when he said that Vince loves to fuck with people, but it isn't any fun if it just happens over and over, because the person expects it, so he does something nice once in awhile so that way he can keep fucking the person and keep them guessing.

Anyone notice any parallels between Cena and Christian from a few months ago?

Cena feels slighted by loss of title, demands rematch and refuses to acknowledge real champion who actually beat him in the middle of the ring, then gets "screwed" at said rematch and suddenly wants another title shot when he obviously doesn't deserve one? So why is Christian a shitheel and Cena is a hero?

Also, we need to be patient about this storyline. I'm holding out hope that Punk will point out the soul crushing status quo that is creeping back in. I WANT TO BELIEVE, anyway.

I believe it's the station's highest rated show. It was stronger back before the draft and they had Edge, Del Rio, and Rey headlining it.

Can't wait to see how lower it drops with Orton-Henry's upcoming feud.

Its wild - even the WWE's worst is shitty networks' best ratings.

How come Del Rio wasn't given a cool name for his submission?

FCW influence. They want things plain and boring.

Let's play together and name it! I'll call it the ...I got nothing.

Well NXT and ECW and stuff was the highest rated too, not saying much. The rights fees + advertisers general apathy towards wrestling advertisements is what turns networks off. For cable, all wrestling does pretty damn good ratings wise, its just the combination of those two that lead networks to drop them. Plus the whole fitting the networks 'vision' and audience as well. I wonder if Spike decides to change up its network now without UFC and drop TNA.

I remember before NBC Universal picked up Smackdown, they were saying if that didn't happen the only other real bid was from Bravo LOL. It's amazing how bad and apathetic wrestling has got. The roster on Smackdown is just so bad. This is what happens when your entire midcard basically doesn't ever have a real plot, or any real characters. Funny how you could flip back to Sunday Night Heat or something back in 99, and get more characters and storylines than an average episode of RAW or Smackdown nowadays.

As low as Smackdown! gets, I'm sure it's higher than what those two got.

Considering 1) it is hardly promoted as a premier show for them and 2) is taped days prior.

I kind of like arm bar (or arm breaker, whatever) better than you know, something ridiculous like Starship Pain or Skull Crushing Finale.

Besides, most submission finishers are usually just called what they are, they don't have names (except for the Walls of Jericho, off the top of my head).

Hey I like Starship Pain. :(
Yeah, guess you're right.

Well you know the Heart Punch can be pretty much named anything, since a great Heart Punch has lethal force.

The Border Breaker
I incorporated the move's name and his name for the name I came up with. But now I'll combine what you came up with and the moves name.
Border breaker + cross arm breaker= border cross. ;p

Bracero.

I think we need to unify and have themed avatars, guys. Do you think the fake-nude wrestler pics would get us banned if we used them?

Well they used to post those hand drawn guys around everything having sex with each other. Whatever happened with that?

Ok, so can we get a confirmation on the Del Rio/D. BRINE match. Ive read that it didn't happen, was non-title, on superstarts and or was a MITB cash-in. So confused!

This is pretty true. If I know what's happening before hand I generally won't tune in unless something absolutely shocking happens or there's a match that got a LOT of praise.
