That depends, as far as I am aware the only difference between the PS2 & 360 versions will be the graphics.

If the 360 version is different, as in Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter different then you have a point, otherwise I don't think it really matters too much.

Besides I don't know why people are complaining about Sony fans saying the game isn't important, I remember when everyone used to hate on wrestling games back when Smackdown was exclusive to PlayStation. Hypocrisy comes from all sides.

Not neccessarily. THQ has been releases a new wrestling game every 4 months or so. So the PS3 could get an exclusive game as early as next spring, while the 360 will probably have to wait a full year for it's next WWE game after SvR'07.

I would say that DoR2 looked better than that, even in its first screens.

DoR and SD v Raw are 2 different series by 2 different development teams on 2 different systems.

I think THQ realised that the first wave of PS3 owners are harcore gamers, these early adopters have already bought PS2,PSP and even 360, so why to waste a lot of money, time and potentials while other versions are targeting the same audience ? people won’t purchase the PS3 version anyway, it has nothing special but a higher price..they can go for the 360 or the PS2 version.

there should not a be a PS2 and a PS3 version... only one version, ...

we have seen to hurt that Xbox1+Xbox360 games being released on both platforms have caused the industry to go super mediocre with low poo next gen translations

I own SDvsRaw 2006 and I personnaly wasn't too thrilled about 2007 footage because it didn't look that much Next Gen... that said... if they won't go all the way next gen,, then just PS2 it

PS2 is good enough for 2007,, and seriously,,, do people still watch WWE since the Brand Split?

oh yeah,, they still have moves that date back since Smackdown! Know Your Role hehe re-using the same animations over and over, the walk cycles are freakin' old as PS1 man.

The old old diving moves that have odd impacts are still there,,, you can't call this next gen with all the old PS1 animations still there.

I bet they will still have that ugly ROPES DOWN grapple called "acrobat" and still have the badly animated, badly colliding Slingshot aerieal moves where they throw themselves outside the ring

but i see your point, IMO the quicker ALL the new systems are out, and we can leave behind the ps2,xbox,gc hand me down engines/ports the better off itll be, it seems like its taking a lot longer this gen than it did last gen for some reason though....

Damn hopefully I can make Pepsiman in this new one. I made a pretty decent looking one in Here Comes the Pain but the SvR 2k6 one was trash.

Either way for me and my little brother it's the best wrestling game around. Although I do miss HCTP's customization(You could play Season mode with all created characters..funny as hell)
