I am Canadian, so I'm afraid that Australian prices would not be terribly applicable to me.

So not only do we get games where you can pay to win by weapon upgrades and all manner of other shit, now we get a controller that helps with this too?
WTF?

Thats a good thing. Nobody should have to plug this in while playing because it died.
Buying a $12 recharge station that comes with recharchable AA batteries is so much more convenient.
Exactly what it looks like as both those pages have now been taken down and it's £130 at Game who almost always charge RRP.The UK not getting shafted? I'm more inclined to believe two places messed up their prices than that!
Nice. I'd pay 80 bucks for tha-
Oh.
Can't wait to see the Canadian price.
So I'm guessing this will be $220 or so in Australia, lol.
2015 is a good year for couch PC gamers.Just ordered one from GameStop as well.
Steam controller and the elite controller later on in the year, my PC will be happy.
Gamestop UK has interesting wording on my pre-order email. "Status: Confirmed". Hopefully that means they have no way of backing out of my £45 order.
They have loads of ways out before it get delivered to your door.
So no stick tightening? Useless.
Not worth 150$, maybe 60$ but not 150.
Plus who knows if that Marble Madness stage D-pad is even any good.
The amount of ignorance here is stupefying...
The Elite controller is not marketed or designed to replace the regular One controller. It is positioned feature-wise and price point to battle SCUF and other custom controller products.
-It is cheaper than those products
-It has more features than those products.
-It is compatible with ALL X1 games.
-It is not necessary to play certain games. The Elite will not transform you into a MLG pro
-It probably is better constructed than those products.
Knowing all of this, I am still scratching my head why posters are coming in here and saying:
-It is too expensive..... (It is cheaper than a SCUF by $50 conservative estimate)
I refuse to believe that we are that clueless. Better people than me can refer to the price of a A-10 Warthog HOTOS for sims, Thrustmaster Steering Wheels, Hori Arcade Stick Pros for fighters or shumps.....
Enough of this $150 is too much nonsense. If it is too much for you, then I respect that. But this product is targeting a market that is willingly paying $200+ for controllers.
Best regards,
Basing that on all the hands-on time you spent with it at E3?
Honestly, the controller is really amazing and all that but my major concern is the fact that it's not gonna be a standard + the high price will make it a niche controller for the hardcore.
Personally, i like being on the same page as others when i play games competitively.

There isn't a controller in the world worth $150 to me. No hands-on time needed.
150$? Isn't that almost have the price of an Xbox One nowadays?
