Has anything been said about a warranty yet? I will not buy one of the first batch if there isn't one for that price.
I really doubt that it's worth 3x the price of a regular controller.

Nice, but $150? Are they crazy?

Incredible how much stainless steel they put in that controller. That stuff ain't cheap.
150 buck controllers? Insane. Will not ever support such a scheme. I'm okay with 3rd parties making arcade sticks for this price, but 1st party gamepads at 150? Never.
So if an Aussie wants to use this wirelessly on their PC it's going to cost around $250...
I'm at E3 right now.
A couple of things that maybe haven't been mentioned yet:
- All the customizable bits are metal, and beautifully made.
- There are two dpad options: a standard cross, and the weird dish thing.
- The sticks are made of shiny stainless steel. Combined with whatever they're lining the stick well with is so smooth feeling that it's shocking.
- All the customizable parts (sticks, paddles, d-pad) are all magnetically attached, they just click in and click out.
- It is heavier that the normal controller and way better built. I tried hard to flex the controller, and there is none of the plastic creak and squeak of the normal controller.
Yeah it's not cheap for us. I initially baulked at that price, but when I think about how much I'll use it for Xbone and PC gaming, and the kind of games I play, it doesn't seem that bad. I just ordered one from Amazon anyway. I just wish it was out for the release of Forza 6.
I'm also just wondering for the people using the Eneloop batteries, do you use the standard or Pro batteries? And how long do they last for on each charge? Cheers.

Sometimes when the gap is huge I would buy the stuff from US Amazon. Shipping fee is acceptable and usually takes only 3-4 days.
For eneloop I prefer the white ones on the controller. As far as I know the black ones are for things like remote toys.
Regular eneloops here.
I think the overall life of the Pros is much worse than the regulars and are not a huge gain in short term performance.
Ok thanks, I'll have to grab some and a charger. One last question, how many hours do you roughly get out of a set of charged eneloops? Cheers.
Mine tend to last around 12-18 hours or so with rumble enabled. Some games use more rumble than others so the mileage can vary slightly.Ok thanks, I'll have to grab some and a charger. One last question, how many hours do you roughly get out of a set of charged eneloops? Cheers.
Depends on how much you play, I probably average about 4-5 hours a day of play time not counting my controller being on and off all day long for Netflix and such (I'm not the only one that uses it) and I get a couple days worth out of mine.
I did tons of research and I would suggest getting this pack as the smart charger that comes with it is one of the best ones around and the chargers in the older bundles aren't nearly as good.
Just read the first review by NLee the Engineer and you'll see what I mean.

Did you even read the thread?
This controller isn't for you. Let it go.
Good question. Few games used them anyway thoughNo kinect ir markers?
I can still point out how crazy that price is.
Begun, the controller war, has
comes with carrying case
Lol gonna be "that" guy walking in and unzipping his controller case, like the guy at the pool hall just shooting a casual game with a few friends but refusing to use hall sticks and breaking out his alcantra-leather-lined pool cue case.
Yeah, I'm gonna be THAT guy playing XB1 at my mate's house. I have a feeling once I try this thing I'm not going to want to settle for plebian controllers afterward.

Its a huge plus, not sure why you would want an internal battery that gets weaker over time.
