Imo multiplayer is where the real benefits of the Elite will come in since you'll be playing against human competition so enjoy the campaign on your regular pad and then you'll hopefully have the Elite by the time you're ready to jump online.

But the benefit for having the Elite while playing the campaign is so you can tweak, adjust, find what you like in the campaign before delving into MP.

It's why I'm going to wait until I have both to start playing

I wish that were the case here in Australia, unless EB just haven't updated the release date, which is unlikely. The Elite bundle and controller are both set for release on the 6th of November, more than a week after Halo 5.

The store at which I pre-ordered has been changing the estimated date from 6th to 8th to 12th in the last couple of days, wtf? I don't expect to get it before the 27th anyway, so whatever.

Really looking forward to the build quality. As great as the Xbone controller is, it certainly lacks in that department.

If they were removing the regular controller and only had this, you'd have a point. But as it stands, you have no point. Go outside and scream at a cloud for being too cloudy, old man.

I hope this thing sells like crazy and it encourages Sony to do the same damn thing. I'd rather pay 150 dollars for one great controller than continue to constantly pay 60 dollars to replace controllers with broken triggers and sticks.

No. You need to use a separate charger, but the basic Eneloops charger costs about $5 if you purchase it with four batteries.

I like that the letters aren't colored. I've actually switched out the buttons in one of my 360 controllers and my Day One controller to have buttons without any coloring.
