I'm curious to see the cable and how it holds up.
I've ordered a few different long micro-usb cables from amazon and none of them have proven to be durable enough to last very long. One even melted around one of the connectors.
Hopefully you didn't get shafted. I'm still mad that my Rodimus Prime figure didn't come with the little matrix that's supposed to fit in his chest. I didn't return it because of availability concerns.

Just watched an unboxing video and that smaller box was missing from mine.Just an empty space where it should have been.It's not a deal breaker for me got plenty of cables and will use eneloops for batteries.Will contact amazon to see if they can send me those separately
That's weird. Definitely get in contact with them about that.

Yes i will but if they say send the whole lot back then i'll live without them.Now i've had the controller in my hand there is no going back to the old one.The USB cable did look like it would be nice
Try contacting Microsoft direct, they may be able to ship you the missing items without needing to return the controler?

You can double tap the sync button to disable the paddles. Didn't know that.
So since people are starting to get their controllers, I'll definitely post the OT today. Expect it around 6 or 7 EST. Gotta a few things left to to add in. I'll need a few people to proof read it as well just in case.

Well now I have to wait an extra day for mine. Amazon charged an old card of mine instead of my new one that i had added to the account causing it to decline and not be delivered until Thursday. After contacting them, they upgraded it to one day shipping for free but with a Wednesday delivery. Well I've waited this long. One more day wont kill me.

This was a pretty big request when they unveiled the Chat pad, which has dedicated "Record that" and screenshot buttons. There's a Xbox Request page with this on it but it doesn't have a lot of votes.
Yes, it's in the configuration app. You can adjust the light and turn it off completely.
That's right! Why isn't anyone talking about this in reviews? Was the option removed, or is it just not that big of a deal to most?

You can change the brightness for each profile you add or change.
I think there are 8 stages. The lowest isn't off but really dim

Had a quick go on Destiny to try it out (went digital for Halo, so can't try that until midnight 
).
The paddles are definitely gonna take some getting used to, but being able to jump, crouch, and shadestep without taking my thumb off the stick is fantastic. Probably gonna suffer plenty of accidental grenade throws/melees while my brain re-wires itself, though. Think I'm going to stick to two (one on each side) for now.
Tried out the "slow start" thumbstick curve, and it doesn't feel like something I'd want for general usage. Maybe on a secondary profile for sniping. The trigger stops work as advertised. Feels slightly less refined than the reassuring dampened thud you get at the end of the full trigger throw, but I got used to the new feel quickly enough.
And I cannot rave enough about just how damned good it all feels in the hand. The low-friction brushings around the edge of the thumbstick wells, the rubberized grips on the back, and the lovely soft-touch coating on the main shell are just amazing.

Please, we need a run down of this. i want to know how they all feel and how it interacts with aim acceleration and aim assist.
take this anecdotal information with a grain of salt but when i went into my Fayetteville NC Best Buy on Saturday to look for it i noticed they had a place for it on the rack (one hook). I asked an employee if they had any and she looked it up and said they had two but they were street dated for Tuesday so to come back.
