XB1 Elite Controller ($150)

The first thing it asks you to do when you load the accessories app is name your controller lol.

Just updating the controller now, I really love the weight.
 
My Costco.com preorder was just delivered. Man, this thing is heavy. I wish the paddles were a little clickier and that the trigger depth had more than two adjustment points, but it's a pretty neat controller. Not sure if I want to keep it for $125, but then that's the nice thing about Costco's return policy.

Looking forward to trying it out with Halo 5 tonight!
 
I don't even know what I wanna play with it. Maybe Final Fantasy XIV or The Witcher III, or GTA V.

Hopefully mine won't be delayed, because I couldn't pay Amazon today, but am able to tomorrow.

I have a horrible feeling this is what I'm going to get soon too. Despite getting my order in on the 16th of June, my order has been stuck on "Arriving tomorrow" all day but no tracking information has been added, no confirmation of dispatch received and viewing the invoice shows the status as "Dispatching now". Sad face.

Well I miscalculated this one lol. I didn't think this controller would sell like it is and I figured I'd be able to just walk into any store and pick one up. Dammit!!!
 
I am watching the Halo 5 UK Launch event and am so excited to play Halo 5 online but I won't do it to myself until my Elite controller arrives I am preparing for greatness with this controller so Halo 5 can stay in my console unplayed tonight.
 
I went from "Not Yet Shipped" to "Shipping Soon" to "Preparing Shipment" to "Shipping Today".

What kind of shit is Amazon pulling?

I was wrong about the Sears comment i said earlier. Honestly Sears is a piece of shit. As i said, i called earlier and asked if they had it, which the woman said they did. I described the controller and said ELITE like 10 times and she kept saying yeah they have it so i made the order over the phone(never will do that again) for $125 because she said it was on sale.

Well I looked at my order later on through the tracking number they gave me and yeah, it wasnt the Elite controller. It was some Modded controller for $175. I love how she straight up lied to me about the pricing and what it was. So now im in the process of canceling the order. Never will i shop at Sears again.
 
Mine shipped an hour ago. Bought it from Amazon a month ago.

Ouch. That sucks. Be sure to email their corporate office about that one.
 
So...what are the odds of hanging out at a GameStop at midnight tonight and getting one of these babies while everyone else is there for Halo 5?

Eventually it probably will, like in a year or so. Accessories don't normally get price cuts but this is a little different. At it current price tag, with significant demand, there is room for a price cut, eventually.

Of course there's always flash sales on things from time to time too like Black Friday etc.

But price cuts are different from Sales, I can understand discount from retailers, or so, even Black Friday sales, but the actual retail price, IMO, will stay the same.

And the 360 example is different, the are sold at at that price because those devices are last gen.

Hmmm I live in France and the place where I preordered says the 2nd of november. I also spoke to another shop today that said friday though. But I was in the UK at the weekend, and I asked in GAME and the person showed me their promo stuff that said the 6th of november
 
Pretty bummed out with the availability in Europe of this thing in general. A clear launch date would have been nice. All launch dates on sites in the Netherlands are different from another so I have no idea when this thing is even going to be available.

Probably going into November too then.
