So I thought to share this with you![]()

Xenon said:^ This was pretty much my opinion until I put some time into the demo. I couldn't understand how the controls could be SO bad. But then I stopped trying to roam around and just concentrated on going forward and speeding through the level, big difference. It seems to me it less about moving the stick then it is about hitting the right buttons. Of course the homing attack is key but so is using the X button to speed through a line of rings which just makes the game so much easier to control. When I did it right I got the ol' sonic 2d rush of speeding through the level. For instance at one point there was a line of rings followed by a group of robots. At first I was running through the rings, jumping and homing to kill the robots which would slo me down. But when I hit X before the rings I would zip through them and use the slide attack through the bots without skipping a beat. Shit I think I actually gained speed =)
Also, the amount of freedom the level gives you considering the speed is amazing. I must have played through it 20 times and never went the exact same route.
Don't write this demo off so quick!

This is exactly what another guy told me. I've never been a fan of the series, but I'll give the demo a try.XSamu said:I'm not a fan of the Tony Hawk games. I like playing it for like one hour, and then it gets boring. But I've played Tony Hawk Project 8... wow, that shit looks amazing

i'm mad excited about this one... the series has gotten progressively worse after part 3, so i'm hoping that project 8 will be the one to pull it back from its grave.
