There's no Gears of War demo and not an announcement of a Gears of War demo. Mark Rein said it again after this banner surfaced and says it's just a generic banner, but mailed MS to take it down to avoid confusion.

Demos are starting to hit on a regular basis weeks before release. Me likey.

because sales figures are showing that releasing demos on marketplace usually boosts software sales noticably and it's a relatively cheap thing to do. For me, most demos have made me want to at least rent the full version of game I was interested in.

This is one of the things that is really bothering me. Why in the hell do we not have a demo of one of the biggest 360 games of the year? It just seems like a wasted opportunity. Could at least upload the demo from TGS or something.

Because it's not needed? Why waste the time now? Use the energy towards every bit of polish you can get.

Gears hype will be so big that NOBODY will be undecided. People will either buy it, or not. And the 19 people who are iffy on it will get a demo, at some point.

Not enough space on your hard disc. Delete something first.

Apparently a more user friendly message for this error will be added in the next dashboard update

FYI, the demo of ZegapainNOT is available on the japanese marketplace. No idea if it's region locked or not.
It actually doesn't look really bad, it's very smooth at least. But the gameplay is as confusing as the first Zegapain game. Some would call it megapain, but I'm not that type. No sir.

Look in the All Demos or Genre folders (and if it's not there, try again). I had the same thing but after trying a couple of times it was suddenly there. Xbox Live is acting kinda strange lately.

It takes a while for the content to propagate to all servers. give it an hour or two, then complain.
