I'm beginning to see a pattern around the internets...

If streaming from xb1 to x360 became a thing I assume they would have to add support for xb1 controllers on x360?
I got an invite and also have an X1, I'm also in X1's preview program.
Haven't accepted the preview yet. Will check it out later.
Edit: Console is in registration process now. Console updates will follow soon.
Sounds like a waste of time. Not only for us, but for Microsoft.

Why that? I guess they still make a lot of money with the system.
Not unless they have something big planned which could possibly involve the XB1.
Like what?
I got the 360 preview beta yesterday.
After discovering who Mister X is that Anandtech DX12 thread. I was browsing his "insider blog" and he's saying that a new 360 model is being developed that comes with double the ram and Windows 10 features. It's mainly a 360 built for multitasking from what he writes. He calls it Xbox TV.
I'm not sure how legit Mister X is but this sounds plausible.

Was there ever a reason why external drives were limited to 32gb? Other than getting you to buy the official HDDs I mean. I really hope an update gets rid of this. My Elite's 120GB drive fills up fast with all the games from gold, and it would be nice to grab a large external drive and have them all in one place.

Still updating a 10yr old piece of hardware? now that's some unprecedented support. I wonder how many 20gb pros are still going.
This is really just step one in preparing the 360 to revert back to the glory of the blades dashboard.
How much life does this thing have left? Goddayum.
Hello everyone, I did some data mining on the latest dashboard preview files and discovered that Microsoft appears to have increased the USB storage limit from 32 GB to 128 GB.

Perhaps someone with the dashboard preview can confirm more, but there's a chance Microsoft has not yet updated the formatting wizard with the new size.
Thanks for reading!
NEW FEATURES:
Network troubleshooter updates. New in this release are network troubleshooting updates, including Network Statistics.
View purchase history on your Xbox 360. From Account Settings, select “Purchase History” and you will be able to see your purchase history directly on your console.
Microsoft Account balance on the dashboard. Now you can choose to show your account balance on the Xbox 360 dashboard in the upper right corner. You can enable this in Settings>Account>Account Security>Display Money in Account.
Reset your password. Need to reset your password? You donÂ’t have to get on your PC anymore, you can do this from your Xbox 360.

I'm expecting them to update the dashboard with 1080p support and re release the system as a tiny, $99 box to compete in the streaming space.
That's what I'm expecting too (more so the latter due to apps not being behind the XBL paywall).
I dunno, 360 apps are so slow and a bit unresponsive. Unless they work some magic I don't think it would a great media box. At the time 360 was good and still is in some ways but UI and app performance has moved up a few notches on other devices.
Small changes. Credit to r/xbox360
