I really am trying to remain impartial here but come one guys, I can't be the only one that gets the feeling that alot of wii software in the coming months is going to by psp/ps2 ports with waggle, I mean it's been happening for a year I doubt it'll stop now. Blame gamespot for some of missing games, I was using them as a sole resource that's why I'd asked for help. Hopefully I can make atleast someone happy with this list.


This list does not consider PC games at all, it's a console only list, thus any pc ports will not be placed in the multi section, I should also note that I have no faith at all in FF13 making it out in 2008, even in japan so it's pointless to list it.

at least "*" games that are coming to PC. not everyone only plays games on consoles -- some of us play on a variety of platforms and there's no reason to exclude us.

and let me get this straight. you won't list FF13 but you listed gears 2, banjo, and doa5...?

Personally I think FFXIII is xmas 2008 at the earliest.

and there's only 4-5 games i want between the psx3/360.

looks like 2008 is going to be just as boring as 2007 (based on the list(s) in this thread). :/

Why the fuck is Gran Turismo RUMORED to be coming 2008? Even Sony isn't crazy enough to let GT5 slip into 2009, especially when GT5 Prologue is set to hit the market in the near future.

The only first-party game in that list that might not make 2008 is God of War 3 and that's only because it's so obvious that SCEA has no fucking control over what Santa Monica does and Santa Monica doesn't really give a shit about playing a part in how SCEWW supports and pushes the console, they just release their titles whenever it can get the optimal userbase that other titles in the first-party line-up are helping to build.

Where the hell is the Jet Moto rumor coming from?

Pardon my french but please don't group GT5 and Resistance 2 with a bunch of vaporware, thanks.

Not a chance in hell imo, i dont think the game is anywhere close to being ready. We have seen more on resident evil 5 then we have of this game and i doubt resident evil 5 drops next year but we'll see.

What are your taste in games?, PS3/Xbox360 both have very solid line ups for next year imo, not including the unannounced stuff.

Well, until we get a new word from SE, it's still could be released in 2008, at least in Japan. Does it hurt to list it or something ?
We haven't seen much more stuff from RE5 either. Same for Alan Wake.

That's why it's just a rumored/hopeful status.

Which game are you referring to?

I do think LA Noire is vaporware, I'm not sure Brandon McNamara got his priority straight as a game designer in terms of a game needing to be PLAYABLE FIRST and cinematic second, and I wonder how big a team he even has over there in aussieland and if what they're supposedly working on is even slightly playable.

Probably not Tomb Raider, though they've ostensibly started it. I await a condescendingly 'sexy' (and really very irritatingly unrevealing) teaser, once they've finished milking Anniversary.

i think the developer comments about crackdown can allow you to remove the sequel from the list. unless the devs drop their new project and pull a super rush.
