I'm also looking for one or two admins who want to help with the club.
Eventually I imagine they will add it to the pc app. Likely when this goes public.
Excellent job on the OT. Just wanted to make sure everyone is on board, for ForzaGAF "Zorbsie" is an admin and can also send invitations to the club. If you want to join ForzaGAF, please send either one of us (or both!) a PM with your gamertag so we know who's actually on GAF. There are tons of invitations pending because we're unsure whether or not the gamertag is actually associated with a Neogaf member.

Clubs and LFG were added to the Xbox app beta on Win 10 and Android.
Club limits:
You can be a member of 10 private/public clubs at a time.

Nice. I'll have to check it out on PC at some point to see if there are more customization options.

The problem is that you can only be a member of 10 private/public clubs. I think we should combine NeoGaf and XboxGAF.
That's one of the reasons why I created FightGAF instead of KIGAF. If people play more than one game in the same genre they'd have to join several clubs. The club limit would be reached very fast.
It makes sense to create HaloGAF or DestinyGAF instead of ShooterGAF because these are bigger games.

Btw, I wouldn't mind some decent custom.backgrounds for the clubs.
If anyone can do one, especially for the neogaf club, please send them my way.
I couldnt find a SoulsGAF so it seems pretty open to me

Valve's had it way before that, nice try though.
CasualGAF sounds like a great idea, for people who just want more light universal gaming
You won't be, I think if you use the Xbox beta app on iOS/Android you can use clubs right now

Unfortunately ps4 communities are mostly useless. They need a lot of work.

You have to be a preview member, then it's in the community tab, one of the sidebars.

I still dont think I will use this, because I dont use PSN communities or Steam Groups, since GAF does this job for me. But I like the implementation Microsoft has here, it looks solid.
I should probably use it for KI and VF5FS though...

I've been getting people PMing me and sending me messages on Xbox Live about getting into OverwatchGAF - I have been sending everyone invites, but I'm not 100% certain they are truly going out. I think I screwed up by making it a "Hidden" club, as I was under the impression I could change it to not be "hidden" at a later time. So if you don't get an OverwatchGAF club invite within about 48 hours of sending me a message, please send me another message and I'll send another invite. If it continues to work poorly, I might delete the club and remake it not hidden.

You don't have to be a preview member to join clubs if you have a Windows 10 PC. You can download the "Xbox (beta)" app from the store and join clubs that way.
Always happy to add it when it gets made, Titanfall and Rocket League and Casual are also some more that are open
Also if theres any guide on how to create custom backgrounds if somebody can post it i'll also add that to the OP
Edit: There appears to be a TitanfallGAF and GTAGAF up

Back in 07 even: http://www.valvesoftware.com/news/?id=1093 I wouldn't be surprised if Valve wasn't the earliest with this feature.
But yeah good job Sony for copying an old idea. Seriously why do people care so much who comes first with feature X?

That almost certainly will resolve a lot of issues I've been hearing about. Hopefully they change it to a notification of some type when they roll the feature out to everyone.

A status update for ForzaGAF. With FH3 launching soon, there have been quite a few people requesting invites to join ForzaGAF without letting me know here on Gaf. I need to be able to verify that you are a member of Neogaf before I'll let you join the club! Please PM me or Zorbsie with your gamertag here on gaf if you want to join it! I'll look through the invite requests and send you an invitation when I see your gamertag, as well as a PM here on gaf letting you know I sent an invitation.
