How come ReddX is only in the U.S. and Canada?

I don't recognize the one with the yellow background or the one with the duck though.

The achievements are pretty awesome though - who's the guy in the pics?

Well guess that means we need either a PS4 app or a Wii U app (Wii U would be the neutral zone).

How would one even fit reddit into the XBone - as in posting would be hard without a keyboard...

Cool, but the navigation seems terrible or just far slower than other available reddit capable platforms.

The Xbone is slaying the other consoles when it comes to apps though.
 
Damn it, I had this idea since the launch of Xbox One. I got accepted to ID@XBOX but never got a dev kit. I'm happy there is a reddit app I can finally use but bummed that I couldn't release something first :-(

What is the point? I have 5 devices with in 3 feet of me that can access reddit and gaf, I don't need it on my ps4, it will not suddenly make my gaming console the best or... Whatever, some people are impressed by bells and whistles My system does its job, plays games/blu rays and Netflix.

Eh, there probably is a lot, but I mean, it is a reddit app on a Xbox One. They might not be able to place a name to the face, but there's probably a decent amount that'll still recognize him.

Originally systems just played games, then cds, then dvds, Blu-rays, Netflix, now reddit app. Ease of use + progression?

LOL, My system does it's job too. It plays games/blu rays, netflix and reddit.

Well I don't go on reddit but if there was a neogaf app I would love to xbox snap it while playing a game, its nice to have options.
 
If you wanna use it in another country, just change your region, download the app, change the region back. I'm from the caribbean, i do this often enough.

Why do you need your system to play Netflix? You have 5 other devices within 3 feet of you that can probably do that. (obviously just playing devil's advocate rather than a serious question)

Maybe but they have lot of 1st party studio only working on 3rd party apps. Like in London studio done lot of EU Xbox TV apps.

Well netflix is suited to a big TV experience whereas I've found web browsing/reading to be a bit tricky on a TV. So if you're snapping it just to read reddit while waiting for a game to load (games really don't take that long..), it would be easier and better to just use your phone/tablet

Does it do any clever things like sensing the game you're playing and showing relevant content like the machinima app? I think apps like this which are pretty much just wrappers for websites, need to offer more than just a way to read a website - like the context awareness, or notifications that are of benefit.
