Wonder if Amazon is using A1 International again for my order again since it appears to be sameday. That was some of the jankiest shit I've ever experienced. The carrier rolled up in a Civic, with a sticker "A1 Delivery" or something like that on the hood, and just handed me my package (PS4). I know the struggle is bad, but damn lol

Getting a bit nervous since it's Wednesday night and I've got a day one system set for a Friday delivery without it even being prepped for shipping yet. I'm hoping this gets sorted out by the morning. If not, I'll shoot them an e-mail or start chatting.

I'm not getting nervous about missing friday yet (also stuck in not yet shipped), but it will be disappointing if people start getting their consoles tomorrow. Was hoping to have it shipped today just to retain that possibility

Amazon customer support is terrible. The robotic chat responses do not make me feel confident with anything they said. My issue was with the fact the my Day One games were not going to arrive Nov. 22 based on the current shipping status, though the support person said "Your order will arrive Nov 22". I explained the logic that since I was scheduled to have two-day shipping the items should have shipped TODAY (11/20), which they then proceed to say "Yes the items are scheduled to ship today" when it was 8 PM CST. Since when do items ship this late at night?
I was also supposed to be emailed a chat record of the conversation with Amazon support, which I did not receive.
Anyways... I cancelled my Amazon order, and quickly drove to the new Microsoft Store where I pre-ordered the games there and will pick up the Day One versions tomorrow at midnight. Console should arrive Friday afternoon when UPS comes to visit.

In my experience if you're close to a distribution point they may not need to ship it two days in advance.

Has anyone's Microsoft Store preorder actually ship yet? My shipping label was created on Monday, but there hasn't been any updates on the tracking page since then.
2-day shipping option doesn't mean amazon will send it 2-day. especially for release date delivery. they also sometimes ship stuff out way later than 8pm cst. My "2-day" (not really) ps4 was updated at 3am
actually that reminds me though, back when xbox 360 launched I got walmart to refund my overnight shipping fee because they sent it out by ground days earlier with instructions not to deliver it

The UPS site says they are using next day air, so I'm not sweating yet. Hoping to see an update tomorrow afternoon.

If I use UPS My Choice and have them hold the package for pickup, will I be able to pick up my package if my ID does not have my current address? I recently moved so I haven't gotten an updated ID yet. Will they still let me pick it up??

See information like that from the support would be more helpful. If that is the case then why doesn't support explain that process? Saying it will arrive on time when the shipping status is still void isn't reassuring.

Yeah I stopped sweating my MS Console order when I notice the "Next Day Air", which means they printed a label earlier this week (Saturday), but won't let UPS pick it up til tomorrow. I didn't ask for Next Day Air shipping, but it's probably the best way to assure it arrives on time.

Just spoke to EB Games Australia and they are shipping today (already Thursday afternoon now though).
So if any of you guys are Aussie and went with EB like I did we will be lucky if we see it tomorrow at all. Probably be Monday

I believe it has to match, Why don't you call UPS and ask them to be 100% sure.

My XBO shipped today. I find that odd because my PS4 didn't ship until 18 hours before it was due to arrive. I live close to a fulfillment center so I assumed that is why it took forever to actually ship.
Since it shipped 2 days early this time would it be logical to make an assumption that Amazon fulfillment centers didn't all receive as many XBOs as PS4s and that the total number of XBOs is possibly less at launch than the PS4 was able to ship?
