Xbox One Shipment Information Thread

Depends. They just check the name(for me they did at least), worst case you can bring in a bill or something as additional proof. I used an ID from a diff state before to pick up my packages when I first moved to a new state.


Edit: Appears I could have just been lucky and got an employee that gave zero fucks.

It needs to be a government issued ID that matches the shipping address or they won't release your package
 
Going to bed now, fed up pressing F5 on the amazon order page. If there hasnt been any movement tomorrow morning then I am giving them a call. I swear if they fuck up this order like they did my PS4 I am never using them for anything major again.
 
Pre-ordered the second I was able to during E3 but its still at "not yet shipped". Its scheduled for release date though. My PS4 was shipped the day before release (late thursday) and I"m sure the same will happen (New York City).


...I'll still be checking every damn hour though! Very excited to get all this new hardware!

I'm going to college in an entirely different state than my id says. They didn't even question a thing when I went to pick up my PS4.
 
If i get a package held, would I be able to pick it up Friday? UPS usually gets here around 3 or 4. I want this thing ASAP.

They are doing UPS air saver, don't worry. I haven't even seen a shipping confirmation or had money taken out of my account yet. My game hasn't shipped yet, and I got charged for that a few days ago. It automatically had UPS air saver shipping. Thinking they have all their logistics planned out.to get stuff delivered on that Friday.

Mines ground. The last thing said was: Agent pickup; in transit to UPS facility. Yesterday.

Amazon.fr just shipped my console using UPS, but the expected delivery date is next Wednesday instead of tomorrow. :(

I paid 20 euros for the faster (Éclair) shipping, and yesterday the expected delivery date was still tomorrow/Saturday. Hopefully that's just some misinformation on the site, I was really hoping to get the console this weekend.
 
Just got the shipping email. Guaranteed delivery date is Friday according to the email. I'm still trying to figure out if I can go pick it up Friday morning. Anyone have any experience with doing that?

I got charged Saturday and had the label printed on Sunday but no updates with UPS besides the label being printed. I signed in with My Choice and found out it's shipping from a place that's an hour and 20 minute drive from me. I'm not concerned. I'm hoping there will at least be some info tomorrow.
 
Seems like amazon germany messed up.
Just got a mail stating that they had problems charging my creditcard (never had problems before).
I called them and got told that there was a technical problem that caused this... atm they cant charge cc´s for Xbox one orders and changing the payment method causes a one day delay in shippment...

Xbox One will arrive on Saturday 23. now.

(no Idea if what the support told me is true or if this was a problem only with my card and they tried to calm me down or something)

I had the very same problem.

I edited the order and changed from MasterCard to VISA (cards are linked to the same bank account) which apparently worked.

Delivery date changed to Saturday as a result. Nevertheless, they currently preparing it for shipment, so I hope that it will still go out today.

I got a mail some days ago telling me to not change the billing and delivery information on my PS4 order because they currently have technical problems. Apparently, the Xbone preorders have the same issue.
 
Yeah, mine was preparing for shipment until a moment ago as well, just changed to shipping soon so maybe there is hope for a release date delivery.
 
My amazon preorder says 'dispatching now'. Have to go out tomorrow for another baby scan (couldn't see the heart properly last week), anyone want to take a bet they try to deliver it whilst I'm out? Would be just my luck!

Is there a difference between 'shipping' and 'dispatching' order states?

I went to my UPS Customer Center here in North Carolina and picked up my PS4 with my Kansas driver's license.

Yodel has done nothing since it was despatched from Zavvi according to the tracking, but there is a message saying they can't track it so hopefully i can ignore it, but that is still quite annoying.

Looks like i am completely blind until the van shows up at work. I am going to call yodel today to see what they can do.
 
14 hours from the 22nd here, and still no indication on the MS store of my command being prepared, let alone shipped. I suppose I can leave any hope of getting it tomorrow. :(
 
It seems amazon screwed up for me. I ordered on June 10th and it hasn't started shipping yet even though I have amazon prime. So I checked and the shipping changed to next week... It said 22nd when I last checked.

I'm talking to customer service and they said they will fix it. Hopefully.
