I think Crackdown may launch in April timeframe. I see Sea of Thieves and Halo Wars in Feb. Scalebound in March and Crackdown in April...well it could also be March but I think they need an April game (and I hope it's not Scalebound, I can't wait another year...lol)
I mean the launch model with the power brick. The S model should have lower manufacturing costs.refurb what? The S isn't out yet.
Smaller doesn't mean cheaper. Many times the tech used to make it smaller offsets the cost savings.
The Original XboxWhat do you guys think this console will end up being called?
Alright I'll start the guessing.
'Super Xbox God Super Xbox'
Or
Super Xbox Blue for short.![]()

Yet again, not the same situation. This is not a generational launch.
Xbox One Ultra (HD) will be the name, with Sony bagging PS4K.
Hope they are anyway, both are pretty cool and to the point.

I have a feeling Sea of Thieves is going to be your April or May game, honestly.
The Original Xbox
I'm so curious to see what the visual differences will be between the XS and XBigDick. Man this is exciting times

They need to pass it to the consumer, unless they don't want to compete against Sony...you can't compare a refurb to retail, though.
It may have lower manufacturing costs. Rarely does that pass to the consumer though. Especially when they tout new features (4K BD-ROM, HDR)
Holiday 2017 Release
Xbox One S - $199, $249, $299(alternatively, $199, $249)
Sorpio - $399, $449, $499

Seems there are predictions all over the place for the price.
But that's what the XBox One S is for. They serve two different purposes... Scorpio is not a new generation.
Not a new generation, so "again" doesn't apply here.

Yup, at absolute minimum. In nobody's mind is $399 a "premium price."

Hmm, I know they kept 'One' in the name for the Xbox One S, but do you really see them keeping that in place for this new system? It seems like such a drastically different kind of Xbox. Would they really keep it in the 'One' family of Xbox Products? I see how it makes sense, but somehow I see them wanting to move away from that, and even I kinda want them to. This may sound pretty silly but you'd be surprised the number of times people told me that they had no idea the Xbox One was a newer, more powerful Xbox and the successor to the Xbox 360. It was mostly more informed gamers, or people who knew hardcore gamers that gave them proper information, that were able to discern this simple fact. A lot of other people were, and continue to be in some cases, in the dark about this very simple fact.
I'm not sure what they'll end up calling, but I don't know if it should be in the One family.
The thought of the commercial narrator saying "big dick EXCLUSIVE" makes me laugh

Xbox Panay gets my vote.

Hey, it works. GAF men are all above average anyways, so seems like MS will be marketing directly to us![]()
That's the official name to be announced early next year. "We're pleased to announce the XBigDick, the next Xbox in the Xbox One family".
Personally, I can't wait to see what 343 does with Halo because I absolutely believe we'll be getting a full title next year with them really going hard with what the Scorpio will be able to do.
They need to release a big game with it. It should be Halo 6 or a gigantic new IP. Are there going to be Scorpio only games? Or will all the games still run on the One?
Ah, I never knew he was there : )
Guessing we'll be getting a dedicated event around May next year?

I want to see 1080p/30fps exclusive games that look like CGI. And 6TF can do it.I hope it's not just vanilla Xbox One games rendered at 4K resolution. It will most likely be MS first party output that goes for this target but hopefully third party devs push as much as they can at 1080p.

Yes but 4k will not justify a $499-$599 price point for a mid-gen upgrade. There has to be the promise of something greater.I think most people would but I'm not sure if MS feels games rendered at 4K would be a bigger selling point to consumers. They may have consulted third party devs and were told it would take too much time & resources to update Xbox One assets and would be better to bump their existing games up to 4K if they're forced to support both platforms. I'm just speculating because if that is the case then Neo may follow a similar path (maybe rendered at a 2K buffer and scaled to 4K)
After Phil's initial comments about comments about Scorpio & 4K, despite clarifying & stating devs have freedom to use the power as they see fit, the focus may be on pushing 4k.

Devs are not up to it. Easiest way to support Scorpio to either make it 4k or if you have a PC port, use the best looking config on Scorpio.
