Man, this makes me really happy as i was looking for this feature. Reading that there's almost no lag is good news !!!
Xbox uses 2-6 Mbps at medium setting. Not required.
Remember that since the Xbox uses that much, you'll need to double the numbers for total network usage.

You need to check a game stream box in your Xbox One in the settings menu. I forget which submenu it was in, but it was in a (beta) quoted feature.
Also, it helps that the Xbox One is already powered on at the dashscreen.
This isn't working for me. It says "connected" and is apparently streaming but nothing happens.
edit: fixed it, you need to update the Xbox app.
Cheers dude, have that checked but I don't seem to be getting an option to stream from the xbox app. Is there a particular version of the app you need to be on? Currently on 3.3.5006.00000

Does this only work on local wifi like Steam In-Home Streaming or anywhere like PS4-Vita?
No, install it because it's AWESOME all round.Don't install W10 preview just to try it, don't install W10 preview just to try it, don't install W10 preview just to try it, don't install W10 preview just to try it. - Caayn hums to himself.
Report the bug, good catchTried this out for the first time right now playing Killer Instinct to test it out. Streaming works but there's some noticeable lag and the image quality is serviceable on High but not spectacular. Game is very playable though but certainly not great enough to go online. I don't have my Xbox One in the same room as my PC. It's currently hooked up in my garage with a powerline adapter plugged in there to give it internet access.
One thing I have noticed is that the Xbox Home button doesn't work while streaming.
Going to wait till it release officially. My GPU drivers for my desktop aren't supported under Windows 10 and my Surface Pro 3 is currently a key component that I can't afford to loose or have not working right now.No, install it because it's AWESOME all round.
Have no idea what its game compatibility is like right now tho, only have it on my laptop.
Find the store app you have already installed. It has a blue icon. Open it, go to downloads, and press update all apps or something. It should work.Ahhh, how you updating the app? Reckon I'm being daft!

It crashes every time I start it up. I see the Xbox One dash but I can't control it with my 360 pad.
Not sure what the issue is. Maybe it's due to the fact that my display is 1440p?
That shouldn't be a problem, Surface Pro 3 runs at 2160x1440 and I've seen a lot of people playing with it.
Do you get an error message? Maybe also submit this as an issue through the feedback app.
Wait what?Yeah you would hope that's next. Steam can do it.
...wonder if this would work with my surface 3 atom?
Are people meaning to say megabits as I thought it would be megabytes?

Anyone try this on an HP Stream 7 yet?
If you know how to set up a VPN, both.
Should work well.
Did 1920x1080 on an Intel Pentium (Core 2 with 1 MB of cache). No hiccups.
Atom X7 benchmarks are better than that. Also, you might be able to take advantage of GameDVR.
Wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft updated the Xbox app on smartphones and tablets to take advantage of streaming, so you can use your iOS, Android, or Windows Phone device.
8 bits = 1 byte
Divide the Mbps number by 8 for Megabytes.
Comfy bed gaming.
Not everyone has a TV in the bedroom.
Also, iDevice functionality would be mostly useless, unless you're close enough to your main console that you can still use the controller wirelessly, as they don't have USB ports to connect a Xbox controller! I'm thinking this stays a Windows 10 desktop/laptop/tablet feature.
Mine runs like shit. PC and Xbox One are super close to each other too. Food setup on my part. Like half or 1 sec delay
They said they are working on that
Wooo wait, are you telling me it work like PS4 displaying on PS Vita? So i could leave the xbox in one room, but play it on my pc steaming?
