Kinect the name for Natal? what the hell, that's a horrendeous name! maybe works in english-speaking markets, but i dont think many people in my country would even know how to pronounce that... hard to believe they would go with such a strange brand name. i thought Nintendo proved with "Wii" that it's smart to use a name that EVERYONE can pronounce.

It's not, the advert leaked says "Compatible with Kinetic (tm)" so I would think the camera is separate and USB connected.

The thing is probably already being mass produced. It's fucking ugly. If you set it horizontally, it's not even possible to get kinectic on top of it. I'm still hoping this is some form of viral joke from microsoft.

...but really, fuck the aesthetics. I don't own consoles because they look pretty. If it runs smoother and quieter while being more dependable and having a big HDD built in, then it is automatically the best 360 SKU ever.

Why do they release such ugly designs? I am really interested to know how this process works...is this design previewed to a select group of people who confirm whether they like it or not? Natal/Kinect will be integrated in the new 360. That means:

- if you have an old, red-ringed 360: go buy Kinect Bundle (Camera with integrated chip + Kinect Sport)

- if you have a Wii go buy the new 360, avoiding in the path the PSMove, with the Kinect integrated Chip, Camera + Kinect Sports

The more I look at it the more I'm thinking it doesn't look so bad. The larger photo's actually sold me on it.

Hopefully it's actually smaller and quieter. Price point will be the deal breaker for me though, if it's 249.99 with Natal I'll buy it day one. 299.99 I'll think about it. More than 299.99 I'll not even consider it.
