if you live near a gamestop you might be able to go in store and do an in store preorder thingy whose name is escaping me.
it's the ordering process that they used on the amiibo preorders that makes you pay everything up front, but they at least give you free shipping on the preorder as it has to be shipped to your home and not to the store.

It has the "soundtrack," so I'm thinking 2GB, maybe 4GB at most. I was hoping it would be large enough to download the items on the eshop to make the game load faster.
I've ordered several LEs and CEs from Best Buy, and 85% have been fine. The only place with better odds for me is Gamestop.

Got one from GameStop, but like everyone else, I'm hoping amazon or best but gets it. GameStop is just my fallback.

No one is likely to cancel their Amazon preorder for the privilege of ordering from GameStop. Lots of Amazon Prime members. If Amazon got more I would cancel my LameStop preorder. Especially if Best Buy puts them up.

there hasn't been a free shipping code for preorders for a while now (at least 6 months) Saver still works on in stock orders over $35 though

Just a heads up but the 2 limited editions I've had come from gamestop.com got hit with a ~$30 brokerage fee coming across the border into Canada.

Anyone that managed to pre-order at Amazon but now has the Gamestop pre-order...would you be willing to ship your Amazon order to me instead of cancelling it? At cost price please...just know that it'd be going to someone that actually wants the game and isn't going to scalp it.

Yeah just called, online only, this was the reason I didn't get amazon, was hoping best buy or gamestop would allow in-store. I got it now cause I think its probably going to be online only.

I really wouldn't know, but the one thing I got shipped from them was an Ike Amiibo order that I got on a whim during the craze and it was postponed since there wasn't enough stock, I didn't cancel it and eventually forgot about it. Like a month or so later I got the package, the order was still up all this time and they shipped it when they got more stock.
Anecdotes may vary from person to person though, specially since this is a SE, so I doubt the same thing would happen here.
