The most information Xfire seems to gather is what games you play most frequently, which is then used to deliver the in-client ads (not popups). Their privacy policy is pretty straightforward, and even I have no problem with it.

(Thanks jinx; I think she has an aimbot, though. At least we're past the sniping stage.. )
