You approach a bucket of fried chicken...

I wish there was more to this. It is just a list thread :/.

Lets discuss the controversy over the ergonomics of drumsticks vs. wings.

First off I would never approach a bucket of fried chicken in a million years.

Secondly, if I did, it would be the legs.

Wing > Leg > Thigh > Breast

However, if all the bones were removed:

Thigh > Wing > Leg > Breast

Where is this bucket? For some reason I thought of it in the middle of a street on a movie set. You know, those types of streets where the pavement is all wet because it makes the shot look better, even though it hadn't rained that day, but you're all like, "Man, who cares? It's just a movie, let them have their fun". Because if it were on the street I would not take any of that chicken.

However, if it were on a table, probably a drumstick because they are the least messy.

Chicken legs are for children. Grow up.

Breast if it's done right (meaning not dry), otherwise thigh as backup. Wings are great for snack food.

Thighs are usually the best piece of chicken, but with fried I tend to go for the breast (provided it's juicy and not overcooked).

Fried chicken has enough extra fat from the oil that it doesn't need to be dark meat. Also, I love the firmness of the breast meat.

I'll eat it all, though. A few of my friends refuse to eat anything other than white meat so I tend to eat more dark when we go for korean fried chicken.

Always the thigh. It has the most tender and substantial amount of meat.

Never really understood the appeal in the wing, given the low meat to bone ratio, spare ribs being an exception to that.

High skin to meat ratio.
