I was so excited every time I went to visit my father at his office because it meant I could play these games all day...ahhh simpler times.

DonMigs85's post broke me. I had that exact toy car thingy. Times have changed. My 7 year-old son uses a wireless wheel playing Mario Kart Wii to get his driving kicks. Makes my toy look like Fred Flinstone's car in comparison.

It's a damn shame Nick at Nite now just plays Fresh Prince and George Lopez episodes on loop. But back in the day even though I was an 80s/90s kid, I knew about Donna Reed, Mr. Ed, Green Acres, The Three Stooges, Bewitched, Dick Van Dyke and etc because Nick at Nite gave a link to classic TV to us kids. Now it's all but lost on today's kids.

Now you're speaking my language. Wish there was a Classic Nick at Nite channel or something.

I have no idea what that is but I want to watch it. I love supermarionation type shows.

Just lost. :/

Sigh...I really miss being a kid....and sometimes I wish I could relieve a good point in my childhood for AT LEAST a day.

I remember playing this game all the time on my uncle's computer with my older brother, and my cousin Jenn. (My family couldn't afford a computer at the time)

Along with chess, and some fireworks one. After that, we'd go on my cousin's SNES or Genesis and maybe watch some power rangers if it was on at the time. :/

GAF, I wanna visit my childhood again if I had the chance one day... Who's with me?

Got me.

There's this one robot that everyone had (in my International nerd circle). I remember the name being Guardian. It was rather tall, blue and looked dope as fuck. It had smaller robots inside. None of which were very pose-able, but I loved that thing and played with it whenever I could. Can't find a picture online for shit though.

nostalgic for anyone else, or just me?

Just read this through to my son for the first time the other day. This was hands down one of my favorite books as a wee lad (along with Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Chester's Way)
