Wow the list of shows around me is terrible. And the one or two I might like to see are already sold out for vouchers. I'd rather just get cash instead of these useless vouchers. Once more class action fails the consumer.
 
So this concert i wanted has a fuck load of GA tickets available but every single concert on the list is no longer available for vouchers. Yea, Fuck you ticketmaster.
 
I've used 14 of the available 17 vouchers. We haven't even touched my wife's 17 vouchers. I have Toby Keith tickets for a show 2000 miles away that are listed for sale below face. Same with Rob Zombie & Korn in Dallas and Keith Urban in Charlotte. I also scored 6 tickets to Prophets of Rage and 4 for Gwen Stefani (wife is having a girls night out). Add in Widespread Panic, the Australian Pink Floyd, and STS9, and I'm doing just fine.

The vouchers are good for four years. I'm personally going to hold out for shows I actually want to go to.

Yeah but it's Ticketmaster. You could wait a year and there might be like 1 or 2 shows to choose from. Better to use them now IMO.

Are you able to sell the tickets?
I wasnt able to use any of my vouchers, but my GF really wanna go to Wiz and Snoop.

If anybody got tickets to Wiz and Snoop in Tampa and would live to sell them on the cheap let me know.

Yes, there are options to sell and transfer tickets.
 
I'm just now trying this and everything I see is "Voucher Sold out for this Event"

That's for like all 750+ events on in the entire country.

Is there a way to sort by things that aren't sold out yet?

Ehh, I strongly believe that they're probably putting the best stuff up front now when everyone is paying attention.

Hard to think they'll put up anything worthwhile in 2 years when nobody cares.

Based on the last update from last week, looks like more shows should be added this week, hopefully I can get the show I want

I wish I knew that before, I would have used my voucher on the tickets when it first came up, I just didnt want to waste it since the concert is 100 miles away, but now I know I can make the concert i'm def using it, I still have 2 more too.

Best part about this is buying these tickets and re-selling them either on Live Nation or Stub Hub.

I've made $86 off this so far.

Where? I just checked and it's 75 pages of sold out again. Why don't they drop the sold out listings from the overall. would make things a bit easier.
 
I dont understand how to use these vouchers, there is zero indication of where to use them. Just asks me to pay with credit card.

Edit: Im also not seeing this 'Voucher sold out for this event' , where is everyone seeing this?

On the event list, http://concerts.livenation.com/microsite/settlement. If you're not seeing the "voucher sold out" message, it might be your browser. On Vivaldi, it just shows the list of concerts and "find tickets" links, but on Chrome there's a header with updates, directions on how to use the vouchers, and all the shows say "voucher sold out for this event".

can't believe I missed that yesterday. I got the e-mail before new shows went up. At least two I would've gone to. Shit.
 
Hoping as time goes on using these vouchers becomes easier, but I did happen to snag a pair of Blink tickets in Hartford last night. Prophets of Rage and Rob Zombie I thought about, but figured id be better off to holding onto my vouchers for a bit.

I've been shocked at the tickets I sold, shocked. Both concerts had lawn tickets left on regular sale. I just tried to price them lower because I'm not really losing anything and they sold.
 
I guess since there's nothing in my area I'll try to grab anything and sell them.

I'm I looking at the site correctly and all the current shows are sold out?

I don't get it... Is this a loophole for ticketmaster? They can say they have given the free vouchers but just have everything sold out so your SOL? lol
 
I knew keeping this thread in my subscriptions would eventually be a good idea. I still have four free ticket vouchers. Let's see what they have for us this time.

I have yet to see a eligiable event list on the NYC area.

Has anyone actually used their vouchers?
 
man, i have a bunch of voucher codes, which sucks because I literally bought tickets to a concert last week...$16 per ticket processing fee, too (seriously, fuck you ticketmaster), so these would have helped a little

Last go around I was able to secure a pair tickets for a The Julie Ruin (ex-Bikini Kill) show in San Francisco. Sold them off for a quick $30. I still have like 10 vouchers left. Hopefully there'll be some shows I can attend or at least make a sale on the tickets.

I got the email at like 7 AM this morning. Didn't check the site until 8 AM and just assumed I missed any tickets. So we still have a chance?
 
On the Live Nation website where it says "Eligible events will be listed here. Please check periodically." If I refresh the page, I can see it briefly says there are no tickets available in my area (Pittsburgh). I hope it doesn't only display concerts near me.

so... how do I sell these? Through the Live Nation website?

edit: just put them up for sale through Live Nation. $86 for Foreigner and $70 for Boston. Crazy that if these sell I'll get $156 for doing nothing...
