My standby salad is pretty simple (which is good at it means I can make it a lot):
-spring mix
-tomatoes
-cucumber
-bell peppers (whatever kind looks best in the store, I prefer yellow for colour though)
-some sort of seeds (sesame and pumpkin usually)
-feta
And then drizzled with a vinaigrette of some kind, usually raspberry. Sometimes I'll throw some strawberries in the salad in place of tomatoes.
I also like a good ranch salad with rubbed and grilled chicken on plain old cheap iceberg, beans, corn, red peppers, green onions, and as much ranch as possible without being too disgusting about it.
