Odd choice but yeeeeah lol.

Charizard from Pokémon

Kinda cheating a bit since technically Charizard isn't really a dragon but he can learn dragon type moves, that counts right?

Karafyrm the Sleeper from Everquest

Was gonna post that; EQ had some awesome dragons but the Sleeper was easily the best. A dragon that goes from zone to zone one shotting everything in it? Awesome as hell. Being in Skyshrine when the top guild on my server woke the Sleeper is one of my best MMO memories (even though I died so fast).

From my first RPG ever, BoF1. Really made an impression on how crazy a dragon could look. I think the only Dragons I've seen that are awe-some are from Dark Souls in recent memory. Skyrim's were eeeh...but the way they swooped down on you was kinda terrifying.

Mega Man 2's Mecha Dragon, Lunar's Nall, Phantasy Star Online's dragon, and Panzer Dragoon's dragon have already been mentioned, so I'll mention Singe from Dragon's Lair.

Shadowrun Dragonfall

Couldn't find pic of actual dragon in the game, but the dragons in this are pretty interesting. They have taken over as the world's power and now hoard resources such as technology, companies, information and humans. They are powerful but also intelligent and cunning.

The Prismatic Dragon AKA "The Sleeper" in EverQuest: Scars of Velious

Literally unkillable. When he was awakened he would trample through 3-4 zones killing everyone in his path with a zone wide death touch. Amazing.

Please tell me this is a game where you play as a stoner dragon

The Water Dragon from Jade Empire

I'd post a pic of them in dragon form but there's a huge spoiler associated with that (tis a sad tale).

I love dragons as fire-breathing beasts but I also like them as they are portrayed in various Asian folklore as wise, ancient forces of nature.

Skyrim hands down for me. They're characters as well as enemies with their own language and some deep lore. Their design is not really unique but I like the more traditional look. Plus they're well animated (not exactly a Bethesda strong point); they look good circling a distant mountain peak or stomping around on the ground.

Malygos, the Blue Dragon Aspect from Warcraft:

Something about a mage dragon is really appealing. His tragic backstory is also one of the highlights of WC lore. Pretty likeable guy before he went nuts, too.

His successor, Kalecgos, is also pretty cool, and a much more stable person, but stands out more in human form than dragon form:

In terms of badassedness, Kerafyrm The Sleeper from EverQuest. From a lore perspective, he was the most powerful being residing in Norrath. Upon waking The Sleeper, dragons across the world would start yelling about the end times. From a gameplay perspective, he just obliterated everything in front of him, including other dragons. It took players years before they could muster a force big enough to be able to zerg him down. This was one tough dragon. And even though he was designed to be unkillable, he's still up there as the most powerful dragon I've seen in a game.
