Announced? Mass Effect. While the demo didn't show much from a gameplay perspective, I adore futuristic space games and RPGs (plus, the original trilogy was amazing)
FFXV for the rest of the year. Next year is gonna be tough. In all honesty it should be BotW, but I don't want to get a NX next year so I'd probably play it in 2018. Other than that, NieR Automata, Dragon Quest XI and Persona 5. I don't get too hyped for things in the far future.
Amazingly enough, even with all the big AAA releases on the horizon, it's probably Gwent.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is neck and neck with it. Cyberpunk 2077 is up there too but since we know next to nothing about it, the others take anticipation priority.
Since I was expecting it for this summer, and it didn't come, I have the biggest urge to play RUINER. Cyberpunk game from the guys that made Hotline Miami is way too good to not be hyped.
Yes, especially after seeing footage of the story mode and the announcement of the pc version (which looks amazing), the constant announcements of the new characters which will keep the interest high and the already well running arcade version.
Also they just recently showed 4k footage of the pc version and it looks like it will not be a half assed game (it definitely took time but honestly a polished game on launch like this is well worth it).
Hopefully they get xplay (at least pc vs xbox and PS4) with good netcode working.
I really, really don't want to see that the game does not get a at least Mortal Kombat X quality netcode.
1a Horizon Zero Dawn
1b Resident Evil 7(maybe my favorite franchise of all time)
1c NieR Automata
2 Final Fantasy XV(now that PS4 Pro will save the image quality)
This for games that are releasing relatively soon.
FF XV - I'm not even confident I'll enjoy it as much as my next most anticipated games: Persona 5, NNK 2, and Nier:A.
But mainline FF games always get me the most hyped. Something about the promise of a totally new epic character centered adventure. The only games that could rival my anticipation would be a real Okami sequel or Suikoden VI.
I have high hopes for an Animal Crossing NX. The WiiU dashboard app art was looking very nice.
Other than that, since the WiiU isn't getting many new releases, i'm obligated to say Zelda BotW. Though i'm much more anticipating the NX and upcoming, yet unknown games.
