- Knights of the Round
- Final Fight (arcade)
- RE games on PS1
- 1942/1943 in arcades (I remember playing 1942 in the 80s and going on forever... then found out it was on a super easy difficulty mode! lol)

Can't rank them.

Resident Evil
Resident Evil: Remake
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 2: Remake
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 7
Dino Crisis
Dino Crisis 2
Dragon's Dogma

These the ones i played the most/i'm more attached to, but i like SF, DMC, Okami and every other Resident Evil as well. I fucking love Capcom.

Most are cps1-3 arcade games, most have been listed except possibly my first and 2nd spots. The Punisher and Warriors of Fate although this assumes i'm playing with someone that's what makes them shine for me.

1. Resident Evil 2 (and I can include RE2 Remake as well even though I think the fixed camera angle, prerendered background, tank control RE games are still better)

NTSC_Resident_Evil_2_Cover.png

2. Resident Evil (Including the Director's Cut and the Gamecube Remake)

3. Resident Evil 3 (and also the Remake, which was a fantastic game but sadly a bit too short. In terms of gameplay fun and how it controls it is actually my favorite Capcom game)

6. Dino Crisis

8. Resident Evil 0 (Gets way too much hate and the essence is still there even though it has some flaws. Especially on Gamecube where the hardware was a problem)

9. Resident Evil 4 (yes it is a decent game, but I lost more than I gained. Sorry not sorry, but I loved the old fixed camera games too much. Still a very influential game, but I think it is overrated)

Its hard for me to make a top 10 for Capcom, since there are way too many great games, sacrifice has to be made I guess.

1. Resident Evil VII
2. Resident Evil Code Veronica
3. Resident Evil Remake
4. Dead Rising
5. Dino Crisis 2
6. Onimusha 2
7. Devil May Cry 3
8. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
9. Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara
10. Street Fighter Alpha 3

In no particular order:

RE0
RE1
RE2
RE3
RE: Code Veronica
Dino Crisis (only first one, second started to be too action heavy)
Onimusha
Okami
Ace Attorney (the whole series)
Dragon's Dogma

Honorable mentions to Ghost Trick and Shadow of Rome.

Resident Evil started to go downhill with RE4.

Would have liked to add Clock Tower, but the Capcom one (and Haunting Ground as a spiritual successor) had too much focus on the escaping than the puzzles which made the first 3 interesting.

Missing Breath of Fire games, because I actually never managed to finish one, as they were released at a time when localizations weren't always given and my english was even worse than now.

The One & Only

awesome music & sound.
Visually, it stands out as one of the best looking 2D video games ever made.
3rd Strike is also one of those fighting games that "looks good" regardless of the skill level of the people playing the game.
one of the deepest 2D fighting game experiences in existence.
work of art in motion.

Fantastic post.

By the way, all the Resident Evil 0 mentions are warming my heart ❤️

Game is actually really good. It has a couple of big missteps that prevent it from being a bona fide masterpiece:
- Hookshot
- Rebecca's actions, abilities, and characterization in RE 0 make no sense in the continuity for how her character is in RE1.
- Game is not 2-player coop would would be fantastic
- Boss battles are good but the visual boss design sucks. The "giant version of [insert animal here]" gets old quick

But other than that, the weapons are great, the partner zapping system is great, the game has fantastic pace, it looks gorgeous (better than REmake, actually) and has a great atmosphere and score.

Here we go, in no particular order:

Resident Evil 2
Devil May Cry
Resident Evil REmake
Resident Evil Zero
Megaman X4
Megaman X
Okami
Resident Evil 4
Megaman X5
Marvel vs Capcom 2

Where is number 4 OP????
4. Resident Evil 4 - Changed the formula of the Resident Evil series and it wasn't that bad of a change. It was more action heavy but had it's share of scares here and there but still proves to be a very great game on it's own.

No Megaman X2 or X4? I thought they were the better ones.
Sorry , never owned a PSX until the classic, I am a sucker for original titels .. even with most movies , I’ll prefer the first . So that X3 is on it , something from me . 2 didn’t really click .. 4 I couldn’t play .. maybe it’s better ..

I’ll dust off my classic !

Darkwing Duck
It took the gameplay design of MegaMan and applied it to an videogame adaptation of a stylish Disney cartoon of the same name.

Dead Rising (1>3>2)
It redefined world interactivity and applied its own unique action spin to the zombie genre while paying homage to the films of George A. Romero.

Devil May Cry (3>5>1)
It made style and bigger than life characters an expected feature of every hack 'n slash title to follow in its footsteps.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
It made unique character mechanics for every character in a fighting game a reality and adapted the popular manga franchise of the same name.

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege
It crafted a tale of time travelling feudal Japanese demons invading Paris and the journey of two heroes to end their conquest.

Resident Evil (4>The Darkside Chronicles>Director's Cut>2>Outbreak File #2>Outbreak)
It captivatingly translated the zombie genre to the video game medium with B-movie cheesiness intact.

Shadow of Rome
It crafted a tale of political intrigue and the bitter reality of life as a gladiator in the Roman Empire following the assassination of Julius Ceasar.

Street Fighter (III:Second Impact [Widescreen]>Super II>Alpha 3)
It made the fighting game genre famous and innovated the genre in a multitude of ways with some standout hits.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
It applied a unique spin to the quintessential action role playing game franchise made famous by Nintendo.

The Punisher
It polished preexisting beat 'em up mechanics and applied them to the Marvel intellectual property of the same name.
