Only thing I could suggest to you is maybe darken his shadow a lot (a bit more purple), and darken the mountains a tad. Otherwise I prefer yours.

Please do this and show me them both side to side, then I'll tell which one's best.

This one's great. The style reminds me of Ponyo's character art just a bit.

I don't have any artwork to contribute, but the volume and range of talent here is incredible. On this page, I especially like that Twinmold battle scene.

Love it! Peachfruit's art is incredibly unique.

Edit: Actually, I do have something cool to share. Cory Godbey is one of my favorite artists on the net, and his "Bit and Run" series was truly special.

Well this thread is supposed to cover a lot of different things. Its about all kinds of art, not just fanart. Also this thread is for having discussions about the future of Zelda artstyle, not just posting pictures. So yeah I think if you were to create a pokemon art thread like that, it would be ok. I'm not a mod though, I didn't ask anyone before creating this.

It was going to be made to celebrate the release of Pokemon Black and White in Japan and because it was outlawed in the official thread after someone bitched about it (but these are some of the same people who bitch about Pokemon Anime talk being in the thread so yeah :/)

After that was outlawed I got messages asking me for links to some other Pokemon fan art. People really enjoyed them ...

But Pokemon's 15th bday is sometime this year.

That map is awesome but I feel like you should somehow post an even bigger version (mediafire?), the map kind of feels like "I can't see shit" in the highest resolution on flickr. Great image however.
