You know what they say about leading a horse to water. My horse can't swim. It just stands at the water's edge.

Found a random traveler who told me he heard a rumor thatyou could mount a Lionel. I did it. Can't tame it or anything, but you can beat it while you're riding it.

I don't know what triggers it. Maybe the weather? I found several shrines this way.
Maybe I didn't read it correctly, but I did throw a few weapons at Octoroks and they all just broke. Maybe they need to be rusted?I stand corrected! Thanks.
Has anyone confirmed the "renew weapon durability through rusting & octorok" theory yet?
Needs to be octorocks on death mountain.Maybe I didn't read it correctly, but I did throw a few weapons at Octoroks and they all just broke. Maybe they need to be rusted?

I can verify that it doesn't work. Normal weapons don't rust after being placed in water
Not sure...that's why I'm asking. Saw it on another forum, but no one had confirmed it. Normally I wouldn't give it a second thought but this game has so many secrets that it wouldn't surprise me.
Edit: Here's where I read it (5th post): https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/189707-the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild/75062418

Well it takes a long time to rust metal. How long did you wait for it to rust?
If you grab a Cuccoo and run into a battle, hit it twice and then set it down near an enemy or throw it at them and when the enemy hits it they'll be swarmed by Cuccoos.🤔I wonder if that would work on the last boss
bomb arrow a tree twice = instant campfire
Complete the thunderhelm side quest to get it in gerudo town. It makes you immune to lightning strikes. Run around in a thunderstrom with metal against enemies for destructive results.
Such a waste of bomb arrows
I think fire weapons get a free hit on lighting wood up, since you're not really hitting on anything.

This changes everything.Throwing a rusty weapon into a those baloon enemies (forgot their name) will net you a new weapon. They will chew on it and spit them out brand new. You can also repair damaged weapons that way.

I thought it sounded like trolling, personally. The repairing weapons bit is not true.

There is a really cool secret room of death beneath one of the mazes.
Also in the shrine you access once you save the singing rito, you climb up a long ladder and you can hear music very quietly in the background

While people finding ways to skip the puzzles in the shrines is interesting (and high level play it seems), I'm way more interested in seeing more pro combat.
I've seen some really great clips and gifs floating around since launch, but I'm excited to see what people figure out in really high level, flashy combat scenarios.

Aren´t all 3 labyrinths called that? Do you mean the one in the Gerudo, Hera or Akkala region?
