I always just use Windows Movie Maker. It converts most stuff fine for me. Just check the output ratio.

I will talk in percentages.

100% agreed.

25-40% of the time, my Card will be updated if I listen to music by Artist->Album

0% of the time, my Card will be updated if I listen to music by Song.

I had that problem before the update.

Now it detects basically everything I play.

Question- I have lost 3 gigs since the upgrade for ' Reserved Space and Content from Other Computers" I don't have any content from other computers.

Does anyone happen to know how to pair that down, it was not there before the update. My Reserved space in the settings is at 0%.

Has anyone figured out how the Zune Card records played songs? The numbers on my most played artists don't seem to make sense. :\ No way have I listened to some of these bands 200 times in the last nine days.

Also, my total number of plays shot up 500 within the past couple of days.

Before the update the card would not record any plays that weren't in the database.

That happened to me a lot with unknown local Mexican bands and Bootlegs.

Now it updates plays even if it doesn't wtf you are playing

So far since the update:

1) I can't sign in. Says there is a temporary server error.
2) CD rips take much longer than they used to
3) Won't always recognize there is a CD in the drive
4) Keeps giving me an error message that "Zune is already open", randomly

Not thrilled with the update.

Figured some around here might be interested in this, but I finally got finished with the updates to my Zune Software Customizer program to make it compatible with 2.5. Also added some new features.

can anyone tell me why all my music just disappeared off my zune? I had it on a playlist and shuffle for about 2 hours then it turned off randomly by itself. it took a few minutes to get it back on but when I did...all my music was gone.
