They're working now oddly enough, so never mind. I tried opening them multiple times with IE or Firefox yesterday and I did the same thing today, so I don't know why I couldn't download the full versions of those images before...

whats the deal with that picture host? whenever i click on a image, it is shown in resized form, when i click on it again, to see it in full glory, it pushes me back to the resized image.

Check if the "allow referrer logging" option in your browser is enabled.

Try putting "about:config" in the address bar. Firefox should list all the configuration parameters.
Search for the one named "network.http.sendRefererHeader"... if it's set to 0, change it to 1.
