The Top 10 is rounded off by ‘Mortal Kombat X’ (-8%) at No9 and ‘Minecraft: Xbox Edition’ which re-enters the Top 10 at No10, boosted by a 33% sales increase. That would be physically impossible considering the install base. It's good for a new IP on that specific consoles and that's going to be about it in the UK.

Seems pretty good to me.

Witcher 3 is the best RPG in years. Coming 3rd is nothing to sneeze at.

Not surprising, word is probably getting out that the XB1 version has been running like crap compared to PS4. Improvements in the latest patch though, but it's taken far too long to come out.

Isn't it an undefined number below 17.5k? Which could be anything and much worse.

Can someone state which days this covers for week 22? Is it Monday through Sunday?

EDIT: OK, I see from the link it's Sunday to Sat 30th. Wanted to see how much impact the Amazon price-stacking error might have had on the games involved. I got the idea most people jumped on that Sunday rather than Saturday, but it'll be split over the 2 weeks regardless.

15-17k FW for Splatoon in the UK is probably about the best you could hope for given:

-- The state of the Wii U (userbase/retail presence).

-- The fact that it's a new IP, albeit a well-promoted one.

Will be very interesting to see how it performs over the next month or so. Good legs aren't too unlikely given the type of game it is and the positive word-of-mouth among Wii U owners, but we'll have to see.

I was asking that in the other thread, after thinking about it I'd assume less than 15k so now we have a number for gta5 this then that won't help

Calling 17.5k the max for Splatoon would be assuming that Witcher 3 had an identical drop across all platformers. For all we know, the majority of the drop occurred on PS4, where most of the sales were in the first week.

Calling 17.5k the max for Splatoon would be assuming that Witcher 3 had an identical drop across all platformers. For all we know, the majority of the drop occurred on PS4, where most of the sales were in the first week.

That would seem to go against past experience in the UK where drops have been greater on the XB1 though. And ignores the massive degree of bundling going on of the PS4 and Witcher 3.

Last week we were all shocked when Farming Simulator 15 sold more on Xbox than PS4. This week that has been rectified.

Correct. It could go either way. Max could be 20k, could be 14k. Hoping more for the former. New IP on the Wii U really needs to succeed.

Splatoon is above gta 5 which is at 15.5k

I think Splatoon did great, all things considered.

Splatoon was advertised quite a lot. Was watching CN and Disney Channel with my cousin and saw the adverts come frequently. Nice to see Nintendo is being serious about this game.

I did see some ads recently, probably on CITV and POP as we're freeview paupers, seemed like there were more for MK than Splatoon (but I admit to not paying a lot of attention).
