Erm.. Sony has never given a 40GB AAA game as a PS+ download. That's what we're talking about here. File sizes which are unfortunately the norm for PS4 AAA games. All I'm saying is with the way PSN is don't expect Sony to be putting large file size games on PS+ anytime soon.
Also PS3 PS+ didn't have the install base of PS4 PS+. Apples to Oranges at this point.
PSN network infrastructure is poor. And Sony has done little to improve it with an ever growing install base.

Yeah, I would totally get Ascension but my old, fat 80 GB PS3 doesn't have nearly enough room for it unless I completely clean house. Hell, I'm getting close to filling up my PS4 already with only a few months of PS+. Free games are awesome but where am I supposed to put them all?!

Not the best month for me, I already played and loved Limbo, and the rest aren't the type of games I'm looking for at the moment.
Limbo has only been a Vita Plus title, never PS3.
While I do agree this was a very anti-consumer choice, it was definitely the developers decision, and not Sony's. I haven't checked it out yet, looking forward to it.
Limbo isn't crossbuy and has been featured on plus for both the psvita & ps3 on seperate occasions.

Finally, a good month for PS+. I'm still pissed that we missed out on Assassin's Creed: Black Flag last month over a bunch of indie games.
Huh? How did you miss out on Black Flag? It isn't like if one service gets X game, the other has the same option.

Great month for me. Lara Croft doesn't look too good to me (especially for single-player) but Limbo, Stealth Inc and Sound Shapes all sound amazing.
I thought the Trials of Archimedes was well overhyped, first attempt for me, the last big battle at the end of The Labyrinth GOW 3 on hard kicks it's botty in difficulty.

They removed July's the games early. Went to grab them last night but could only get Geometry Wars 3. :/

Usually if an "Indie" game is going to be PS+, it will debut on the service for the month of its launch. If not, then there is no real good way to guess. Stuff like Hohokam, Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! and Never Alone were released in 2014, and only recently went on PS+ in the last few months. So, using that as a judge, N++ might go up sometime in the next 6-9 months... although that is still just maybe.
The game is likely to be in a few sales before it ever goes on PS+. Odds are it will hit 50% off before Christmas. So, if you want to wait you might get it cheaper before the end of 2015, but it is unlikely it will be on PS+ before 2016.
This. Also, we have to remember that N++'s price is going up once the first content update is released (early buyers, of course, get the extra content gratis), and the dev has said this is probably the cheapest the game will be. I don't think they're going to raise the price and put the game on Plus any time soon.
In short, JoBo4, if I were you I'd grab it asap. I can't see it being cheaper than it is now any time soon.

One of the developers said on twitter it won't get a sale for quite a long time due to the ongoing backend costs of the game so now would be the best time to jump on it!

It won't let me download GoW Ascension because "you already own Champions armor and Champions sword". I guess some of the DLC in this ultimate edition also came with the original disc release and this fucked up the system.
I wanted to have the digital release as well

Did you try looking for Ascension on the PS3 store? I couldn't get it to work on the webstore because the non-Ultimate version isn't even listed

Is there a seperate Download for the OnlinePass of GoW Ascension? I own a used copy of the game and don`t want to download it ( but I am a trophy whore so I need the online pass

On N++, the developer said it will never be on PlayStation Plus. Apparently the cost-per-user is too high due to servers and stuff and so there's no possible way they can even heavily discount it, let alone give it away for free.

I used the webstore because I'm at work currently, will try the PS3 store when I'm home but it sounds like this would explain the problem as I also can only see the ultimate version, thanks.
