I couldnt get more hyped about the 3DS even if i wanted to.

So these screens do nothing to me, because no screen could make my hype go any higher.

Understood ?

See those look great to me, and they're real, bullshots really need to die.
Do you think that absolutely no development has happened since then?

These images aren't even as impressive as the RE:R or even the MGS3D demos we got at E3, and yet they're supposed to be impossible?

not really interested in dead or alive, but that kind of visual quality from a third party so early in the systems life-cycle is certainly encouraging. it looks very nice.

Even the backgrounds look completely different from the E3 shots.
It's pretty obvious some major development has gone into the game since then.

If you believe those images are direct feed at native resolution, you're an idiot.

Well you see.. they've had 3 extra months. Totalling 6 months of development right?

About, yeah.
And since they're probably using an existing engine, that seems about right for how far along the game is.

ehhh they look mostly the same, don't be fooled by the bullshit depth of field effect added to the images.

I believe he's talking about jaggies and the anti-aliasing, not graphic capability.

We did see very smooth AA in Star Fox and on some things in Ridge Racer, though.

DOA games are generally some of the best looking games on their respective platform. Can't wait to see what it'll look like in 3D. Compared to the E3 shots they've been working on the lighting and shading considerably.

The MGS ones are clearly direct grab from the framebuffer, exactly how it is on screen, and they look like utter dog shit in comparison in terms of IQ, you really can't tell the difference?

Here is another example of Team Ninja's bullshit:

They are the worst for bullshots, regardless, the game looks great I'm sure.

To quote myself from the 3DS thread just now:

Ok, so looking a little closer at the Doa screens I'm going to assume the game will be closest to doa4 in gameplay style.

Aside from raidou every piece of animation is being reused from previous games, particularly the stuns. Kasumi is seen using only moves introduced in doa4 (with the exception of kk in the top corner, which is using the doa4 version). Everyone is sporting slightly edited versions of their doa4 default costumes. And of course Kyoto in bloom.

Also hayate is 5'11 but raidou is still towering over him. That bastard is going to be a super heavyweight :(

To my eyes it looks just as smooth as RE:R, which we've actually seen in motion and on the hardware. If there is bullshottery going on then Capcom is equally guilty.

If we've learned anything from Team Ninja, they deliver in graphics. Their artistic style may be contested but their games do look good on anything they put any effort into. Heck look at the DC version of DOA2. That game still looks incredible for a 10+ year old game.

Still looks good. Havent been hyped like this for a system since Dreamcast, this line up is awesome. To fit in with the age 99 cheat from DOA2 I expect some 3d jiggle in face mode though.:lol

That's a system selling feature right there.

so, you expect nothing then, since there was no such feature in DOA2.
