Maybe that's the catch. He's not so detailed in real-life.

It does look damn good!Ydahs said:Shit, those snow levels look better than most PS3/360 games
Must look insane in motion.

I haven't emulated any Wii games myself, but to my understanding, you can install a homebrew app on the Wii which rips the game and exports it onto a HDD.UrbanRats said:So, after lurking through the thread for a few days, i cannot resist any longer.
Since i have a i5+5850 i figured i might give this a try.
Ofcourse i have both a wii and a gamecube, but wow, some of these screens were mindblowing, so i'm following the steps in the OP and setting everything up, but i have a question:
I've downloaded the latest version fo Dolphin(r6353) and the GCpad /wiimote configuration windows are fairly different and so are the INIs.
I don't have (yet) a bluetooth adaptor, so i can't use an actual wiimote, but if i want to play, say, NSBW with a x360 pad, how can i mimic the waggle(needed to throttle)?
I still have to try even one game (still have to figure out HOW to rip them from the disc, it would be much easier to just pop the disc in :lol), so for now this is my only perplexity, probably a dumb one, too.

If anyone has time, I'd love to have a high-res capture of the final Bowser battle in NSMBWii for wallpaper purposes!

Sorry if already shown (didn't see on the previously posted game list), but I gotta ask.Stallion Free said:I ended up finishing the game last night, the Jungle actually looked quite nice in high-def. Not as good as the snow level, but it was probably my second fav level to see in HD.

And here are some samples:

I don't own any 1st person shooter for the Wii (rented a few) but I would play Goldeneye on the PC. Problem is I have no bluetooth and would have to play with my 360 controller... An Idea I'm not entirely fond of. Is there a way to use a PC mouse to play this or CoD for example? And does it feel right? I know its not programmed with a mouse in mind, but it could still be way better than the 360 controller.

I'm fairly certain Leon has that hair for the entire game, that gun for more than 10 minutes, and he also has his hands. So yeah, congratulations are in orderCuban Legend said:You only wear that jacket for about the first 10- minutes of the game. So, congratulations?

I'm guessing this is using some kind of texture pack for the PC version in the emulator?

You can rip them if you have a certain LG dvd drive if I remember right. Don't know which LG drives can rip them though.Lonely1 said:So, homebrewed Wii is the only way to rip games? Bummer, since I have now much more free time I was considering fulling the request for Reflex, WaW and Black Ops Dolphin screens.
I haven't had much luck getting Reflex to actually show the game, I can get to the menu though.Lonely1 said:So, homebrewed Wii is the only way to rip games? Bummer, since I have now much more free time I was considering fulling the request for Reflex, WaW and Black Ops Dolphin screens.
Don't forget the guide here:thundr51 said:After lurking this thread for so many months I'll finally be able to give this a try this weekend. I'm getting a Phenom II X4 3Ghz so I'm hoping it'll help...of course my graphics card is still crap. Can't wait to try out PN03, should be interesting...if it works.

Amneisac said:So, just looking for pure conjecture here, do you guys think this kind of emulation would ever happen on a future Nintendo system? I mean, why not make the Wii2 play Wii games at an upscaled resolution? Would it just not have the power? Also, is there anyway to do this without fucking with the firmware on my Wii?
