For Forza, of the stores that had ordered some, had they sold some, or did they only order 2-5?

It’s really hard to tell. I know wanpaku sold at least 2 because they were set-aside for someone. I am guessing that it’s selling, just that it’s not selling out.

this is my first post to wish the best of luck to Vinnk.
Hope that doesn't mean no more "Vinnk's Village"!

I’ll keep doing it. Actually since she works at Jusco, perhaps I can get her to help me with it.

I want a "Vinks Honeymoon" report, please.

Good luck.

I think there will be an embargo on that information for a while.

Now someone will be supply constrained! :(

That’s what happens when you are high demand.

Hope she accept. 2 and a half year is long enough to know whether she is the right one for you or not.

Be prepared to have your game time allocation drastically decreased once you got married (and even more when you have children). Been there, done that.

I must say being on GAF has cut down my playing time more than anything else. As for her she is not a gamer but is kinda becoming one. She is the definition of a lapsed gamer. She played the Famicom with her brother and nothing since then until I bought her a DS. Now she has 7 DS games of her own and will sometimes play Wii sports at my house.

But yeah I am prepared to trade a lot of my gaming time for other things. I think it is a fair trade.

Good luck dooderz. Just a tip, you'll completely forget most of any speech if you try and remember one. I just went through the same thing about a month ago. If you do have a speech in your head and you forget, just go with what's in your heart, tell her you love her and ask. I spent about 15 minutes stumbling over my thoughts after my mind went completely blank. Back on topic: I predict next week's thread will show that the number of Gaffers engaged will have increased 50%.

Good advice. And yeah, I decided to keep the memorized speaking to a minimum.

And Best wishes.

Vinnk's Marriage Report

She has discovered that I am making these reports, and is not amused.
I am now nookie constrained.

Hey guys, If Vinnk gets married i say we all start posting and starting threads on PS3Forums about the state of the PS3. Then we all post the results. It'll be the opposite of a meltdown. Things will be so awesome and hilarious, it'll be a melt-up.

From a grapher's standpoint, I really want to see those 360 and PS3 lines cross. :D

Where's the 2.5 million DSs per month going? That should mean ~800K per month or ~200K per week to Japan. :/

Barring a further dropoff, the PS3 should pass 900k next week, just short of June. o_O

And sadly, I'm sure they would find some positive way to spin it.

Stockpiling for DQIX later this year?

What were you expecting...?

The PS3 to drop into the 7000's. Maybe a drop on the Wii based on the lower Wii Sports sales this week. You gotta admit, its a pretty boring week.

That's why I chose this week to propose. Gotta spice up these MC threads somehow. Just don't expect it every week.

I think that motion control will be a standard, but it will be an offshoot of the current Wii controller. I think the 2 handed approach will stay because that is more comfortable regardless. I wouldn't be surprised if the next controllers resembled two nunchucks with more buttons on them for Microsoft and Sony.

Honestly? I think next-gen is going to be the most interesting generation ever.

Nintendo came out of nowhere. You could see Microsoft, and Sony try and do the same thing, capture the populations imagination, and come out with really different and exciting stuff.

Holograms, VR, you name it. Next gen will NOT be like this gen.

Waggle will be standard, but it will evlove. I expect a more glove-like apparatus in the future as games continue thier enevitible push towords VR.

Good luck Vinnk on the proposal - fingers crossed!

As for hardware - well those Famitsu numbers are a bit off. Anyhow it's the second week in a row PS3 < 10K! But it's boring. I say it's not, but nobody's really interested anymore ;p

Other than the DS (which is a monster), low sales this week (same with the software).

What are the LTD sales for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color in Japan (seperate, not combined)? I want to know if the DS has become Nintendo's best selling handheld in Japan yet (I know it hasn't worldwide, the DS is at about 40 million while the GBA is over 70 million).
