‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+31%) returns to the top of the All Formats chart for the first time since March 2015.

Having been on chart over 150 weeks it’s the 9th No1 crown for the Take2 title. It’s a close run fight for top spot this week with ‘Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’ (+19%) making a late surge for the crown although it remains at No2 by just a handful of sales. GTA V’s return to the top ends the 5 week run of ‘Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens’(-21%), which had been set to break the record for chart topping Lego titles but instead drops to No3. ‘Overwatch’ (+13%) moves up a place to No4 while outside the Top 10 ‘Tom Clancy’s The Division’ (+34%) climbs ten places to No11.

It’s another quiet week with No Man’s Sky not scheduled to arrive until Wed. However elsewhere in the Top 40 some notable climbers come in the form of ‘EA Sports UFC 2’ (+26%) and ‘Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege’ (+26%). Both titles continue their week on week climbs up to No15 and No16 respectively.

Game are still doing that 1TB, 2nd controller OR Ratchet, Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, Heavy Rain and Beyond pack for £329.99, so that explains rises there.

I don't think it's safe yet, what with Bloodborne being bundled multiple times, re-entering the charts in sales and having a GOTY SKU. Certainly possible though.

Yeah its GAME's top selling PS4 bundle, actually three of the top four PS4 bundles involve those games. http://www.game.co.uk/en/hardware/p...chname=shopbydep-_-consoles-_-formatps4#Page0

Sony should have included Until Dawn instead of HR & Beyond, then they could have marketed the bundle as only on PS4. Either way this bundle seems to be doing great for Sony.

Speaking of best sellers, the XBox One S doesn't feature in Amazons top sellers and at Game, the an Elite bundle with Forza 6 and Halo 5 beat it. I think those 2TB models were stupidly limited in numbers.

With the delay on the cheaper models too over here, I'm wondering if AMD has a yield problem on the chips. If they were expecting to do a limited launch in everywhere but the US, they would have just done that.

Is UC4 glitched there at #1? I know the actual numbers are pretty low but still.

Also ... GTA V. I have to dig out my post repliyng to doubters who said "everybody already played GTA V on PS3/XB360, wont' sell much on next gen" before it came out on PS4/XB1.

That game is such a juggernaut. Rightly so.

The Xbox One S does seem to be very limited, its number 8 on the console sales chart at Amazon, with a price of £470! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-Selle...eogames/676171011/ref=zg_bs_nav_vg_h__1_vg_h_

With AMD also having the Neo this year, their factories must be working 25 hours a day!

As a curiosity, RPG sales rose by 34.7% in value, the highest increase after MMO genre with an increase of 74.9% over 2014.

The RPG genre generated €111.4 million, the second best year since 2008.

I know the numbers are low, but it is still beating every other game and better than some of the earlier weeks.

It's been played pretty perfectly since it's the biggest release before the drought. You can see the triple figure % increase with the sales that week, then putting it in an official bundle for the summer sales has kept the momentum going.

Although the game that beat it to overall #1 is GTA, which even this generation versions are older than UC4, let alone the older gen version.

Finally. The PAL charts had stopped being worth following a long time ago for people like me who don't care about PS4 and Xbox One. Thanks, Pokémon Maps.

Total? I don't know. It's bound to be up big on UC3 after this holiday season though. Holiday uptick should help out its legs, seeing as how it's a big title and is going to be cheap. UC3 on the other hand will be entering the Summer Drought of 2012 when launch aligned.

I dunno if UC4 has THAT good legs. This winter is insane with big name titles like WD2, BF1, Titanfall 2, Destiny RoI, Gran Turismo S and of course Call of Duty.

I think what helps UC4 a lot is the slow summer period with no big releases while the game is still relatively new and that makes it pretty much the go to title for any new PS4 owners. In a few months it's gonna be buried doe. Not that there is anything bad about it, it obviously is already a great success.

That said I have no idea where we stand in UC3 vs UC4.

UC4 will keep chugging along it seems, price had been cut but the same can be said for all games on the list and it's sticking near top of the charts. The PS4 sales will obviously pick up during the winter so UC4 could very well be above 500k come years end. Game has done well for itself, must have done maybe 4-5 million worldwide by now.

Interested to see how GT Sport more than anything out there, does not have a huge amount of hype but the game has looked much less of a shitshow lately so hoping for good things quality wise and sales.
